For those of you who say the Light Fury is just a female Night Fury and the males are black, females are white, there’s proof that this isn’t true.
If female ‘furies’ were white and males were black, then two of the Night Lights-Ruffrunner and Pouncer-would be full black, and Dart-the only sister in the group-would be pure white. Considering they’re mixed colors, proves that a fury’s color is not determined by their gender, but rather the Night Fury and Light Fury are different species from the same Genus/Title (If I got it wrong and it’s Family, not Genus, please don’t judge and just understand the concept of what I’m trying to say, but I believe the Family would be the Strike Class dragons in general, the furies would be the non-scientific classification of the genus, and the species would be Light Fury, Night Fury, and any other types furies out there), meaning that there are male and female Light Furies and male and female Night Furies. The Nightlights are not a cross between two ‘Night Furies’ else they’d be completely white or completely black based on their gender, but instead are a cross between two completely different species from the same family, genus, and classification (Strike Class). They are both very similar, having almost all of the same descriptions in scientific classification terms, but when it comes down to species they are two different types of dragons.
