I don’t know why but I wanna redraw my wow characters lol. This is Elenir, she’s been my main shaman since the Burning Crusade. tbh it’s been a long, long time since i played WoW but she still is one of my favorite ones ;w;
My design for what if Draenor had a world soul! I gave her a single eye, reminiscent of the Colossals that ogres and orcs spawned from, her robes and the feather like hair pieces are to represent the arakkoa, and the vines are to show the bontai that infests Draenor and some of its life
World of Warcraft - Talador
Another redraw of old fanart to celebrate WoW’s 20th anniversary—one of my favorite zones!
I love the colors, the music, the vibe…plus “A Light in the Darkness” is one of the best songs in the game imo 💜

Wait...
Thanks to Warlords of Draenor we know that orcs are the gnomes of Draenor; among the smallest and smartest of the natives.
Is their love for putting spikes on their gear (and even buildings) related to hunting/survival? Like, if something really large and hungry bites you and/or tries to eat you, spikes on your armor might make them recoil and drop you.
(Yes yes, I know it was just the original devs who liked the aesthetic, but that has never stopped me from coming up with in-setting rationalizations before. ;) )
