Hello everyone! I have some really exciting top surgery news that Iâd like to share with you. I talk all about it in this video! Please like, comment and subscribe!Â
(Urgent) i have an appt with dr lorimer for hormones. Am i able to choose the way I take it?
To an extent, yes, but there are a few limitations:
They donât tend to start people on nebido, so if you wanted that you would have to argue your case.
If you have a nut allergy they will start you on gel.
If you have a history of mood problems they may also want to start you on gel.
Basically, if you have a preference, you should make that known to him and he should listen to your views.

I emailed dr lorimer over a month ago (almost 28 working days now) about a first appointment with no response and no luck getting through on the phone - can someone reassure me that this is common? Any indication of timeframe would be really appreciated.
I understand Dr Lorimerâs office is taking longer than usual to get through messages at the moment, so I wouldnât worry at this point, but it might well be worth sending a follow-up with âsecond messageâ in the subject line.

Sorry to take up your time and ask a question as a result of my impatience. I understand Dr Lorimer is busy and there are many patients to look after but it has been over a month since I received my appointment summary letter where he confirmed he got my blood results and I've heard no further information on whether they were good enough to be given the go ahead to start t. Is it worth trying to follow up with an email for an update or would this just clog up an already busy inbox? Thank you.
It probably wouldnât hurt to give them a polite reminder that youâre still waiting at this point.

Dr Lorimer not responding ?
Dr Lorimer is currently taking up to three weeks to respond to messages through Gendercare at the moment, so if it hasnât been that long, then hang tight for a bit - they probably just havenât got to your message yet. If itâs been more than three weeks, you can send another message with âsecond attemptâ or âexisting patientâ in the heading, as appropriate.
~ James
Just in case no one else has sent this - for anyone worrying about the lack of response from Dr Lorimer his administrator has been off sick and is now playing catch up with emails so they should be in touch with people soon.
Thanks for sharing!

hey, i sent dr lorimer an email 4 days ago and havent even got an automated responce? can they just take a while to come through, or should i email again?
I donât know if all emails generate auto-responses, or itâs to specific clinicians or turned on at specific times. Iâd wait the advised 3 weeks, and then contact them if you havenât heard back.
Any followers able to shed more light on this?
