well now I just want to write a Logan fic where he lives with Wade above the girl downstairs, who is the artsy writer friend of Wade's that's the focus of all his sex jokes and his incessant life narration. The girl who beats a fist on Wade's door screaming before coffee hours about his music that's too loud or how he deliberately filters his pornography into the ventilation shaft above her bedroom to annoy her. Girlie who hosts movie nights with Wade once a week to feed him to make sure he actually eats, because she's worried. The neighbor who doesn't realize Wade now has a handsome, burly new roommate camping on his couch with a drinking problem and the personality of a dead tree, but in the dark and tortured way. Who can't stop smiling at Logan while jamming her elbow into Wade's ribcage. Who adopts both of them as her unspoken responsibility and is a little stupider around Logan because of the way he looks at her and actually listens to what she says, who enjoys hearing about her work at the theatre. The girl who is completely oblivious to the fact that Logan lingers at her door when he comes home, helps clean up after movie nights just because he likes the air in her apartment better when she laughs. The girl Logan starts dreaming about, who he tries to forget by bringing girls home to mindlessly have sex with because the only person he truly wants lives downstairs and is too sweet, too good for him. That girl that, slowly, but most certainly, stitches him back together and brings purpose to his life in a new timeline, makes him want to be a better man.
