Teldryn and @downontheupside ‘s oc Darra. And her cheese collection.
I adore these 2 and wanted to draw this meme, so boom. Sheogorath wishes he had this much solid dairy. I hope I did the back of her head justice
photo ask game 24 12 :]
Hi Choi!
12. an outfit pic
I don't really do outfit pics, so the closest I can find (without revealing my face) is the pics I took when my writing hat arrived in 2020.
24. taken abroad
This is Frederiksborg Castle, in Denmark this Xmas just gone. At some point it stopped snowing and the Gent was keen for us to get some exercise, so we went for a cautious walk around the Baroque gardens.
Thanks for the ask, and I hope you enjoy the pics 😀

13 and 14 for both Talis and Aderyn for the in-depth ask meme! :D
Hi Choi!
Oh these are toughies :D
Talis
13. Does your oc have any particular rivalry or mutual dislike with any NPC?
Talis and Salmo of Skingrad have a incredibly petty rivalry going on, which started when they were apprenticed together under Mistress Embertame. This included lots of minor pranks and niggling jibes - so it’s a good thing they now live in cities miles apart XD
Talis thinks Salmo is overbearing, cloying and too saccharin; and that his sweet rolls aren’t much better.
Salmo thinks Talis is disingenuous, his Breton-inspired patisserie pretentious, and his baking experimentation pointless.
14. How well-liked is your oc? What is their reputation, if they’re well-known? Are they simply liked/disliked, or are they respected but feared, or personally liked but not taken seriously, etc? Do major factions consider your oc an important player?
Talis is moderately well liked on the Waterfront of the Imperial city, enough for many people to greet him cheerfully, and to have his hair ruffled by Graman gro-Marad. He has a small reputation for being generous, as he'll bring back food that didn't sell and pass it out to those who need it. Talis is very much Just A Guy, and not an important player in any faction.
Aderyn
13. Does your oc have any particular rivalry or mutual dislike with any NPC?
At the start of The Ruby Falls, Aderyn and Hieronymus Lex have a mutual dislike of each other (this does morph into grudging acceptance of the other by the end of the story).
Lex, being the police officer he is, thinks that GreyFox Securities is a front for something shadier (it’s not) and that Aderyn by association and skill is a master thief (technically she is - it’s complicated). He dislikes her on the ground she is A Criminal who Can’t Yet Be Brought To Justice.
Aderyn, being small and innocent of the crimes Lex wants to accuse her of, thinks Lex is unduly harassing her (he is), and is terrified of him finding out her actual crimes committed for the Blades (he never does). Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and so she hates him on the grounds he is An Asshole Cop who Just Won’t Fuck Off.
14. How well-liked is your oc? What is their reputation, if they’re well-known? Are they simply liked/disliked, or are they respected but feared, or personally liked but not taken seriously, etc? Do major factions consider your oc an important player?
Aderyn has a solid reputation in the Security community, within the niche of Physical Penetration Testing. She’s well-know enough that at security conferences, people recognise her name and want to introduce her around. She is not well known/ respected enough to be invited to submit talks, though she has been selected a few times to give talks.
Despite her reputation and general affability, there is only a small subset of colleagues within GFS who would consider her a friend - her transient lifestyle doesn’t lead to a lot of strong, lasting connections.
Before the start of the Main Quest, while many factions didn’t yet consider her an important player, they did consider her someone to keep their eye on - especially after the success of her infiltration into Tamriel Industries’ New York office. During the events of the MQ, it becomes clear that they were right to keep tabs on her, with Peryite making veiled allusions to the same.
Thanks for the questions, hope you enjoy the answers 🫖 🌿

an incredibly underrated soundgarden tuneeeeeee
Soundgarden "Down on The Upside" 2xLP. Those last two original run Soundgarden albums are my favorite. I think they really embody their sound and essence. They'd distilled the best stuff from earlier releases into just non-stop awesome. Their earlier output had some amazing and definitive songs on them, but a lot of filler too, at least to my ears. Whereas "Superunknown" and this one I could always listen to from start to finish and not feel the urge to skip tracks. Even though "Pretty Noose" was a pretty popular song, I always thought it should have been a bigger hit. It is so good! Like, I still cringe a bit when I hear "Black Hole Sun" just from the sheer overplaying of it the summer of 1994, but even though Noose was played a lot too, I never got sick of it. I found this vinyl circa 2001 in near mint condition for $5 after never being able to find the CD in the $5 bins for years prior (I'd long survived off a dubbed cassette when it was a fresh release) so for once, my patience paid off. #LP #Vinyl #Records #Soundgarden #DownOnTheUpside #PrettyNoose
