The state that the planet is in, caused by man via mass corruption and devastation, is leading many to feel despair, hopelessness, anxiousness and depression about the future. But do not be afraid. If what you look into the world and see scares you, then stop being a part of it. Stop using your money to support businesses that directly contribute to the destruction and pollution of the planet. Recycle. Stop buying plastic. Spread information about living sustainably. Buy solar panels or other sources of renewable energy. Stop driving your car twice a day. Start growing your own food and buying local. Learn skills like canning, preserving, composting, fishing, horticulture, foraging, sewing, cooking, etc. Teach your children how to do the same. These are all things everyone needs to learn in order to not be a cancer on this planet. And when it is all said and done, if the earth still crashes and burns and the destruction is too great, at least we will have spent our time trying the best we can, surrounded by the earth we love for possibly the last time in human history. Be grateful for the time we do have and determine how you’re going to spend it. Toiling hours away for a corrupt society that cares less for the habitat that sustains it while giving you next to nothing in return, or would you rather spend your time among the trees and grass, knowing your existence is treading the earth as lightly as possible?
