This originated from the well-known Canadian novelist, Douglas Coupland when he met Lucy at a hotel in London - "I love celebrity encounters The best was in a hotel in London. Libro 2/2022 "Generación X" de Douglas Coupland. O el libro de mi generación y de la tuya si has nacido entre los años 1969 y 1980 (los años bailan dependiendo de la fuente pero 1975 seguro que es generación X) . No sabía que existía y @soynuriaperez habló de él en uno de los capítulos que más me gustó de su podcast "Gabinete de curiosidades". El que tituló: "La última década lenta", escúchalo porque te flipará. El libro me ha parecido diferente porque parece que no pasa nada pero sí. Cuenta un trozo de la historia de tres amigos. Ha sido como leer una serie sobre Andy, Claire y Dag, tres jóvenes con unas expectativas de la vida bastante alejadas de las de los yuppies que forman la generación anterior. Andy hace una reflexión con la que me siento superidentificada: "Habría que preguntarse por qué nos molestamos en levantarnos por la mañana. Me refiero a que, en realidad, ¿por qué trabajar? ¿Solo para comprar más cosas?..." Yo, a veces pienso que este mundo es muy absurdo tal y como está montado y si encima piensas que me dedico al marketing ya puedes imaginarte las pajas mentales que me hago. 🥴 (@bela_mocor tú sabes de qué hablo) Un último apunte... El lápiz también fue un descubrimiento de Gabinete de Curiosidades, un @blackwing (de los nuevos) que es una fantasía.
