Double Blind

A group of people enter a medical study and soon find that they've signed up for more than they expected. While the vibes and visuals were cool, the script could have used a bit more work.

2. The Brood

Another great one from Cronenberg and a delightful addition to the House of Psychotic Women list. Oliver Reed and Samantha Eggar steal the show with powerhouse performances, and while they hold off on the classic body horror until the very end it's well worth the wait.

3. Family Dinner

I wanted more to this movie, the main character Simi was so compelling and had a nuance to her that deserved more exploration, especially in the final act of the film. Beautifully shot, classic premise, but fell short at the end.
