Hello again everyone! Hope you're all doing well! Today I'll be reviewing Friday's episode, before I do however I know I missed Thursday's episode so I'm going to give you a quick debrief on what happened during that episode. Needless to say that everyone was more than excited when they learnt that Sonia's Dad, Terry, had arrived on the Square! It seemed that he had made quite an impression on Tiffany specifically, she seemed more excited than anyone. But I do have to mention the iconic quote she said to Dotty, after over a decade since she last quoted it, Tiffany told Dotty where to go ... "You're NFI - Not Flippin' Invited!" ... absolutely iconic!! However, after Terry making a good impression with Sonia's family, Sonia couldn't help the feeling that it was too little too late for her Dad to be walking back into her life. As politely as she could, she informed Terry that a simple drink isn't going to make up for long lost years without her Dad. Understanding her completely, Terry left informing her that Jack has his number if she ever wanted to call him and reach out to him to possibly rekindle their relationship. Sonia watched as Terry turned away and walked off into the night.

Meanwhile, Martin makes a fool of himself and lashes out Zack after believing Lily's lies about Ruby cheating on him with Zack. After punching Zack in front of Sharon and Ruby in the club, Ruby puts him straight that his daughter is lying to him and how it hurts that he believed his child without even talking to Ruby first. Is Martin now in the dog house? What is he going to do make it up to Ruby? But also, how are they going to deal with Lily and her lies?!

Elsewhere Mick was preparing himself for court, Frankie still feeling the pressure of her Mum asking her to give a character reference for her. Although I can understand how Frankie must be feeling like piggy in the middle at the moment, she wants to be there for Mick, but I don't know, even though she loves her Mum, she can't stand by her after what she's learnt.

Anyway focusing on Friday's episode, I'm going to begin with Sonia and Dotty. I guess it's fair to say Dotty and Sonia have always had a rocky relationship, they've never really seen eye-to-eye. Does Dotty really get a thrill out of slagging off Sonia? I feel there is more to it really and in this particular episode, I think Dotty gives Sonia some food for thought.

After having a bit of a row at home, Dotty leaves and heads to the club, but Sonia follows to check if she's alright, it here that Dotty admits to her that she'd give anything to have one last chat with her Dad, how can she stand there and watch willingly as Sonia just let's her Dad walk out of her life. At the beginning of the episode, Sonia claims that she's surprised that Tiffany believed everything that Terry had said about his life, in Sonia's eyes - why should she believe this man who, even if he is her Dad biologically, he is a bit of a stranger to her. She knows nothing about him and he knows very little about her, as far as she was concerned, it's too little too late to make up for lost time.

But I think after Dotty admitting that she's give anything to be with her Dad again, Sonia takes these words on board. I think she probably will reach out to her Dad and slowly begin to build a relationship with him. What do you guys think? I'm not 100% sure whether Terry is going to be a permanent role in the soap, but it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the Square, what friendships he'll make and whether we'll find out anything about is past?

Elsewhere, Sharon has informed her brother that regardless of him not actually sleeping with Ruby, he's not as innocent as he makes out, as he has been continuously flirting with the married woman, purposefully winding Martin up and instructs him to apologise and take him for a pint. But, Ruby seems less than impressed with her husband's actions as we see he has been sleeping on the sofa. As he wakes, Ruby walks in informing him that she's been up since the early hours of the morning looking after his children, almost kind of giving them guilty treatment. She mentions how she was looking forward to him coming home from Dubai, how much she had done for his children whilst he was away and he throws it back in her face by listening to Lily's lies. It's fair to say that Ruby is deeply hurt and informs Martin that he has to confront his daughter and stop her from saying all these horrible lies, otherwise Lily or Ruby herself will be moving out.

Realising the seriousness of his mistake, he gives his word to Ruby and eventually gets his chance to speak to Lily. I believe that Lily is still holding a grudge against Ruby for putting her Mum in prison for something she didn't do, so feels she needs to get her own back in some way. Is she really trying to split her Dad and Ruby up to maybe teach Ruby a lesson? However, even though she's a kid and she's missing her Mum, what she is doing is really out of order, making up lies about Ruby just to get back at her.

Martin confronts his daughter and informs her that she needs to stop the lies and give Ruby a break. But it's not just the lies she's been saying, even cutting up her deceased Mum's wedding dress. Even though Lily claims she didn't know it was Ruby's Mum's, she still shouldn't have done it. This is an interesting one though, who's side are you on? Ruby's or Lily's? As Martin instructs his daughter to be more respectful to his wife, Lily leaves the house without saying a single word, although it's clear she's not very happy about it. Later we see her sat at the allotments calling her Nan, asking whether she can move back in with her.

Of course Jean isn't going to see her Granddaughter out on the streets, but I feel that maybe Jean will start to ask questions about why Lily is wanting to return to live with her. Actually speaking of Jean, I happened to notice that maybe two or three times in this episode, she complained of stomach pains - although she used the excuse of having prunes for breakfast and it has made her slightly windy. But something is telling me it could be more than that. Could it be the cancer? I have to be honest, I am still stunned to realise that no one in her family knows about her cancer and only Ruby is aware about how terminal she is. If Jean takes a turn for the worse, surely Ruby is going to have to inform them about what she knows? I swear though if EastEnders come to the decision of killing Jean off, I will be deeply upset!!! (Let's hope it won't come to that!)

Now of course the main focus of the episode was Mick and his family. Today was the day that they had been dreading, but yet they had all been waiting for. It was the day that Mick would finally face Katy in court. Even though he is twitching his leg with nerves, he's looking as ready as he'll ever be as the cars pull up outside the Vic, ready to take him and the family to court.

As everyone gathers in court, Frankie is trying to tell both Mick and the rest of the family something, whatever it is it seems really important, but she's never given the opportunity to say what she needs to say. As The Carter family make their way into the court, you can't help but feel for Mick as he comes face-to-face with Katy, the person who abused him as a child, one last time. Frankie is sat beside her Dad as she tries one last try to attempt to tell him something really important, but unfortunately the moment is taken from her a second time.

As statements are read out in the court, it becomes clear what Frankie was so desperately trying to tell her Dad and his family. It turns out that Frankie did give her a Mum a character reference, regardless of what she did in her past, Frankie cannot deny that she was a good Mum to her. Katy looks over to her daughter with a smile as the Carter family look over to Frankie in shock. Frankie almost looks as if she feels she's betrayed her Dad's side of the family, but Mick does the most honest and decent a thing a Dad could. He takes a firm hold of Frankie's hand, informing her that he completely understands her giving her statement, at the end of the day, Katy is her Mum and she gave her a happy childhood, regardless of her crimes.

As the court goes into recess, The Carter's confront Frankie about her decision, informing her that she could've jeopardised the length of sentence that Katy could receive for her crimes. Shirley more so than anyone is voicing her disappointment in Frankie, but Frankie defends herself. Do they really have wanted her to be a victim of Katy's also? Frankie cannot deny that her Mum gave her a good childhood, and Mick interrupts the discussion claiming that Frankie did the right thing and he completely understands and supports his decision.

During this whole interaction, Nancy makes herself scarce and gets some fresh air. But as the court is called in to hear the final statement and the verdict, Mick goes to search for Nancy as the rest of the family enter the courtroom. As he makes his way outside, he's faced with the terrifying scene of Nancy having a vicious epileptic fit in the middle of the road. Mick acts fast and stays with his daughter, putting his jacket under her head so she doesn't get any lasting brain damage from bashing her head against the gravel. Devastatingly, the rest of the Carter family have no idea what's happening as they're waiting for Mick to return to give his victim statement.

But Mick knows he cannot leave his vulnerable daughter in this state and desperately calls an ambulance. Linda then informs the judge to read out Mick's statement on his behalf. Now I have to say how this moment played out was really powerful, the words used in Mick's statement were so moving that it brought both Linda and Shirley to tears. But hearing these words about how much he was made to feel embarrassed and how it affected his anxiety and relationships with his family, he claims that without Linda and the strength of his family he wouldn't have been able to carry on. While hearing these words, Mick stays with his Nancy until she slowly comes round from her seizure.

Eventually Nancy is helped by paramedics and she slowly comes round from her horrific seizure. Together they walk back into the courtroom, just in time to hear the sentence Katy is given. A total of 10 years in prison! Now I have to be honest, how this episode ended was absolutely perfect, touching and powerful. As the Carter's leave the court and step out into the fresh air, Mick grabs each daughter, Frankie and Nancy, from both sides and hold them ever so tightly. The air is blue and bright, the birds are singing and Mick takes huge breath in. I absolutely LOVE that Julia's Theme was used for this ending, after a horrendous couple of months that Mick has had to endure, it's all over. Katy has been put away for her crimes of child sexual abuse and Mick can now sleep easy knowing justice has been done.

Together as a family, Mick, Linda, Shirley, Nancy and Frankie leave the court together. A untied front showing full well that nothing could ever bring The Carter Family down! With Katy now behind bars, the can carry on with their lives as a family. An absolutely beautiful and moving ending to a deeply devastating storyline! I can't applaud everyone enough for their performance in this storyline - Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Linda Henry and Simone Lahbib! They've all been absolutely incredible!

Hello again everyone! Hope you've had a great weekend and doing well! I have seen a few spoilers over the past couple of days and honestly, I'm so excited to blog about it. I believe this episode in particular is a belter! I'm not going to waste any of time and simply jump straight into it!

Ooooh Wow!!! So there's a lot I want to talk about but firstly, I'm going to focus on Sharon. She's still poisoning her new husband, however I do feel like she's kind of struggling to keep it together. Obviously she's having to live with a person who she has grown to despise after learning about his involvement in her son's death. We've already seen her fall off the wagon a couple of times, almost putting little Ollie in danger and also stealing medication from Jean to carry on her plan. She seems more determined than ever to get her revenge and justice for her son. As the days and weeks go by, Ian is visibly getting more and more unwell, I find myself wondering how long it's going to take before he realises that the reason he's unwell is down to his wife. You'd think that if he was taking medicine and taking a lot of rest, and if he hasn't prepared any food or drinks for himself, surely you'd put two and two together? I don't know, who can say for sure?! In this episode, it looks as if Ian is gradually getting worse, as he becomes slightly light-headed and loses his balance, causing him to fall to the floor and knock a considerable amount of glass over. Unfortunately, he does this in front of the whole pub. One of the main people who sees this happen just so happens to be Dotty, the person who warned Sharon about Ian in the first place. Part of me is also questioning, has Sharon actually believed Dotty from the very beginning? I mean, why would she make something like that up? Something is telling me that maybe after what Dotty told her, maybe it played on Sharon's mind and she had to find out for herself whether her claim was true! Personally, I'm looking forward to the moment when Sharon reveals to Ian that she knows about Dennis, it's going to be a powerful woman getting her justice with Ian practically on his knees, begging for forgiveness! Oooo it's going to be great viewing for sure!

Seeing as we've already mentioned Dotty, its been quite a while since she's been in the soap. Tonight she reappears announcing that she's throwing a party whilst Sonia is away! She questions both Ash and Iqra whether they'd like to come, at first they decline the invite, explaining that they're both up early for work the next day. Suddenly, Dotty's phone pings and she's excited to reveal that Peter will be attending her party, surprisingly, as soon as she mentions Peter's name - Ash instantly looks interested and changes her mind, announcing that they will attend Dotty's party after all, much to Iqra's annoyance at the sudden change of mind. Now, why would Ash be interested in Peter? Was there a bit of flirtation going on between them a while back, if I'm not mistaken? If that so happens to be the case then I would really feel for Iqra, especially how her sister warned her of the Panesar family before she left the Square! Could Iqra and Ash's relationship fall apart thanks to Peter? Who knows? What do you think is going on between Ash and Peter? I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this one!

The next thing I want to talk about is the Fox/Trueman family. As Denise, Kim and Isaac continue to worry about Patrick, it seems that Sheree does a disappearing act. At first, I think to myself, why on Earth would Sheree flee whilst her husband needs her at such a desperate time in his life! Even when Kim and Denise visit poor Patrick at the hospital, he slowly wakes. It's clear he's very groggy, his speech is still slurred as he asks for his wife. Poor Denise doesn't know what to say and tries to reassure him that she'll be there at his bedside very very soon! Later, both the Fox sisters confront Isaac, questioning where his Mum is, he takes it upon himself to go and search for her. Eventually he finds her drowning her sorrows in Ruby's club, but what she says really shocks me - it's like she's already given up on him. Now, I'm sorry to sound harsh, but if you loved someone, regardless of their health, you'd do everything in your power to support them and be there for them. It may be hard, but you'd find the strength to be there for them. I'm shocked that she stated that she couldn't do it and be there for him - when he is in his hospital bed, desperately asking for her. I don't know, it doesn't sit well in my head. If she states she can't cope, think of poor Patrick, his second major stroke within the space of 7 years (with his first major one happening in July 2014!) Isaac speaks firmly to his Mother, informing her that now he knows for certain that he's his Dad, they need to make more effort with him more than ever and they need to be with him, now, when he needs them the most. I just hope Sheree will come to her senses and realise that her son is right!

The next thing I want to talk about is, Jean! Oooh poor Jean! We saw at Christmas that during the family celebrations, whilst getting changed into a gorgeous new dress, she found a new lump forming. Since then it looks like she's been suffering in silence, not informing her family about her discovery. In this episode, we see her have a check up at the hospital, I do feel for her during this scene. The poor woman breaks down into tears as she checks herself under her hospital gown, it's only when the nurse enters the room that she attempts to put on a brave face. Even though the nurse is trying to be polite and put her at ease, Jean just wants to get straight to the point and questions whether her cancer has returned. I hate to say it but when she stated that she could be "Riddled with it!" - my heart did sink for her, I pray to God that that will not be the case. I absolutely LOVE Jean, she's been one of my favourite characters, Gillian Wright is just a credit to the soap, I know it might be jumping in too deep here, but I pray to God that they don't kill her off. Jean has been through so much during her time on the Square, I think, she more than anyone, deserves a happy ending! I just want to point out that NOTHING has been announced or confirmed regarding Jean's cancer story or whether Gillian Wright will be leaving, I am just voicing my personal thoughts and views. Lets just all hope and pray that our beloved Jean will be okay! Regardless of the sadness of Jean's current story, I want to acknowledge also the comedy between her and Laila Morse - AKA Mo. Can I just comment on the eyebrows - brilliant comedy!

Now the main focus of the soap, the Carter's!! At the beginning of the soap, they are all gathered at Mick and Linda's apartment with Gray. This specific day happens to be the day which Tina is supposed to be attending her court hearing for the attack on Ian! However, we all know full well that Gray has gotten rid of Tina, unbeknown to the Carter family. They all seem to be worrying due to the fact that she hasn't been in touch with any of them, and they all seem to think that this would be the day she'd reach out to them. Shirley seems to be worrying increasingly as she keeps a tight hold of her phone, hoping to hear from her younger sister. But when she proposes trying to contact her instead, Gray panics and instantly informs Shirley that it would look bad on her and also Tina if she did. With Shirley informing Gray that her little sister always gets in touch in the end, Gray takes it upon himself to lie to the Carter family even more by sending a message to Shirley from Tina's phone. Meanwhile, while the Carter's continue to worry about Tina, Katy is at home with Frankie, it has come completely clear to Frankie who and what her Mother is! Katy pleads to Frankie to believe her and forget about Mick, but it's something that she just can't do! She tells her Mother to state who her Father is, if Mick isn't, but Katy can't bring herself to answer. Eventually Frankie leaves the house, leaving Katy worrying and panicking, but it's only when the police turn up at her house, she flees out the back of the house. (Even the police state that they have come for Frankie!). Making a silly and dangerous decision, Katy takes it upon herself to give Mick a visit and returns to the Square, it's there she informs him that Frankie has called the police on her own Mother. Even though Mick wants nothing to do with Katy anymore, after informing her to leave, they eventually enter the Carter's apartment. Katy once again attempts to get inside Mick's head, asking him to keep everything between them a secret, that Frankie shouldn't have to suffer. Only as she's asking Mick these things, unbeknown to them, Shirley has entered the flat is slowly approaching the room they're in, overhearing everything she's saying. Now THIS, THIS is the moment where you realise that Shirley has learned the truth about everything!! She's found out what's been bothering her son for all this time, this is the moment we've all been waiting for! It's when Mick uses the word "Paedophile" to describe Katy which completely grips Shirley! She eventually lets herself be known by slowly walking into the room, both Mick and Katy's faces drop! I think this next moment was absolutely brilliant!!! No speech between them, only Mick pleading for his Mum not to act! Shirley attempts to chase Katy around the kitchen table, but she scarpers down the stairs and out of the front door out onto the Square. Without words and without any hesitation, Shirley follows her like a determined bull chasing it's pray - eyes daggered toward Katy, when she finally catches up to her, she gives her a good ole slap around the face and beats her as she lies in a heap on the floor. I do not condone violence but, YES SHIRLEY!!!!! YES!!!!!! I'm sure every single viewer was applauding her as she was doing this!!! Finally everything that Mick has suffered has come to light and finally Katy can get the comeuppance she deserves! The neighbours on the Square however, witness Shirley's assault on Katy and shout for her to stop. Katy makes her escape as Shirley looks back to her son, as everyone takes themselves inside, Shirley pulls out her phone and decides to report an assault. But who's assault exactly? Hers upon Katy? or Katy's upon Mick?!

Good evening everyone! Well, this is it, we've come to the last episode that is going to be aired before the soap leaves our screens temporarily. I have mixed emotions, a sense of sadness as it's going to be a while until we get to see our favourite story-lines comes to an end, but also i'm kinda looking forward to the new documentaries that are going to be shown. I'm also looking forward to seeing classic EastEnders episodes, I'm looking forward to reliving such iconic moments. How are you guys feeling? I'd love to hear your thoughts and feelings about the soap leaving our screens temporarily.

And Wow! What a final episode that was! What a cliffhanger to end on!! I really enjoyed tonight's episode, let talk about Ian and Dotty first shall we? So Ian has also managed to get Dotty suspended from her university. I feel like things aren't going well for Dotty at the moment, Ian seems to be taking everything away from her due to her blackmailing him. He first managed to persuade Peter to leave her on account of Bobby, and now he's managed to get her suspended from uni because of her dealing drugs and assaulting an officer. I'm not too sure what Dotty is going to do next. Ian really put her in her place during that conversation in the restaurant, she has no evidence to prove that he locked Dennis on the boat, and also he's right that no one would believe her over him, after what trouble she's been in recently and Ian acting the doting citizen, no one would believe a word against him. So, really ... Ian can act all smug as he likes! But I do feel that as this is EastEnders and secrets never stay hidden for long, it will only be a matter of time before Sharon finds out the truth, whether she finds out from Dotty or from other source remains a mystery. But I sure am looking forward to finding out what happens next when it comes to Dotty and Ian with their constant battle with each other.

I felt it was nice to see Tina and Iqra in tonight's episode, however something Iqra said has really got me questioning something. Is Tina really sleeping at her gay bar? Since Mick and Linda announced that they were selling the pub, Tina has been the main one who has been worrying about finding a place to live. Shirley has said many times that she has a place sorted, but what about Tina? Is she actually hiding the fact that she could potentially be homeless and is sleeping rough? Is she trying not to be burden for her family? I'm intrigued to see what happens, but something is giving me a feeling that all will be revealed about Tina and her living arrangements when the soap comes back on air. It looks as if there could be a really close friendship that could build between Tina and Iqra? Could their possibly be a romance on the cards? I know it's a big suspicion but I'm convinced something might happen between them in the future. What this space - that's all I'm going to say on the matter! Anyway, it also looks as if maybe Iqra and Keegan could start working for Tina and perhaps be her supplier? However, as much as Iqra was keen on the idea, Keegan not quite so much - or not even seeming interested at all! I really don't understand why Keegan is STILL looking so miserable! He should be focusing on moving forward with his life, he needs to get things back on track with Tiffany and starting again with his sandwich business, moping and moaning is just not doing him any favours. All his friends and family are without a doubt supporting him through his recent ordeal with the police, but everything has been turned in his favour and all charges have been dropped and yet he still can't move on with his life. I'm sure we've all been aware about what's happened in America in recent weeks and with the #BlackLivesMatter movement, something is telling me that when the soap comes back onto our screens, somehow #BLM will be mentioned in Keegan's story. I mean, it would make sense, right?

Can I also just mention that scene between Gray and Suki! I feel like they were both playing each other with their own games. Gray was making digs about their business being above board, also basically saying (in his own words) that he doesn't want Chantelle working there anymore. Of course he lied by saying he had had a raise, it was only to keep Chantelle away from Kheerat. Suki surely rubbed Gray up the wrong way I feel, saying that Kheerat will do anything to keep her at the business. But then when Suki left the room and Gray started taking pictures of some documents, were they like some kind of invoice? Or perhaps some kind of information about the business? I'm interested to see what happens when Chantelle finds out that Gray went behind her back and basically lost her her job.

Awwww, can I just say how much I love the relationship between Ben and Jay! They really are brothers, they've been brought up together and they'll always have each other's back! I absolutely love it! It was only a matter of time really before either Callum or Jay found out first about Ben's hearing. It just so happened that Ben collapsed when Jay came to see him. What could have caused that? Was it due to his flu or a headache or just everything as a whole - including his hearing? However, even though Jay was concerned it was only when Ben shouted at him to look at him while he was speaking that Jay eventually clicked. Ben shouted in such a way that it was a desperate cry for help. Jay knew then, he just knew that his condition has worsened. I feel a sense of relief that Ben finally said something to someone instead of suffering in silence (No pun intended). So the damage that Danny caused to Ben's hearing due to the gunshot was a burst eardrum, luckily that will heal, and hopefully Ben can still have his operation to help regain his hearing, to some degree. It's sad though that Ben wants to hide it from Callum, he is going to find out sooner or later, whether it be from Jay or Ben himself. He will click that something isn't 100% right with his boyfriend. Will he try and get the new character, Frankie on board to try and help his boyfriend communicate better with him? Will she also convince Ben to experience life with the deaf community to see how they carry on with life? I know we have to wait a while to see what will happen next, and I know I've said it a lot in recent posts, but I genuinely am so excited to see where all these story-lines will go.

Oh poor Billy! He had been taking so much stick from Mitch that he was just about to snap ... and he eventually did! After dig, after dig and after a losing match of air hockey, he was ready to stand up to Mitch once and for all. He would be willing to do anything to fight for his woman, even ending being hit in the nose. Once Karen had been made aware of what was happening between the men in her life, Billy gave her an ultimatum, if she really wants to be with Billy, she's going to have to get Mitch to leave their flat. Which to be fair, I full support! Why should Mitch still be living with Karen when they have no romantic feeling towards each other right now? Of course they have children together, but surely Mitch could get his own place with Bailey? And Billy could potentially move in with Karen, they'd still have a family unit but then everything and everyone would be happy, right? I mean, it might be hard on the kids but they'd adjust! The Taylor household is quite big at the moment anyway, how are they all managing to fit in that tiny flat? Karen, Bernie, Chatham, Riley, Mitch, Bailey, and Keegan - even though Keegan should be living with his wife right now, but whatever - and Billy has slowly starting moving his stuff in! I do hope that Karen will stand by Billy and agree that he's right and that Mitch should move out. What do you guys think? Is Billy being a bit harsh? I don't know, I think I support Billy on this one!

Mick had quite a lot of pressure on him during this episode didn't he? He was struggling whether to give the pub to Phil or try and keep his wife happy but not selling to Phil. Either way, he was kinda in the middle of it all, which ever way he chose - one person would end up disappointed. Of course Linda would be sticking by her best friend after the way Phil treated Sharon, kicking her out after she chose her son over him - I, personally, don't back anyone over this - I can understand Phil's point of view and I can understand Sharon's point of view, it's just a shame that a little child has come between them. Phil wanted to buy The Vic in the first place for Sharon, but after her changing her mind about wanting to bring up her son permanently with Phil, Phil couldn't bring himself to look at the child, let alone love him. He couldn't bring himself to love another man's baby, especially when he first believed the child was originally his. Linda did not want to sell the Vic to the man who basically chucked his wife out just because she chose her own baby over him. Mick seemed like he was being pulled from pillar to post, being demanded by Phil to sign the papers by the end of the day to then being demanded by Linda not to sell it to him. The only person he could turn to was Sharon, he needed help, he needed advice. But Sharon could only agree that Linda needed to leave the Vic and fast - otherwise there would always be a fear of her reaching for the bottle again.

I do want mention one thing though, when Phil reminisced about the time he burnt the Vic down, it brought a smile to my face, only because I remember what an epic episode that was! For those of you who don't remember, Phil was high on drugs and he was complaining to his mother, Peggy (God rest her soul!) that she loved the pub more than him, and the only way he would take it from her would be to burn it to the ground - and so he did, with him, his Mum and everyone else inside. It was such an epic moment in EastEnders, again once of the most fascinating and phenomenal moments from Steve McFadden.  

Anyway back on the subject - what an incredible ending that was! Phil turned up expecting Mick to sign the papers over to him for the Vic, only Linda was pleading for him not to. Mick then revealed that he had had a new offer from someone else, Phil literally thought he was joking as no one could've given him an offer that quick. Linda too was also confused and was eager to know who Mick had sold the pub to. Mick led them out the front and there standing behind the bar in all her glory, with Ian by her side looking as smug as ever, was Sharon! And she once again said those iconic words "Hello Phil! - What can I get you?!" Fans will remember that years earlier she said exactly the same words to Peggy when it was revealed that Sharon had taken the pub right from under Peggy's nose. She has played Phil at his own game! I do feel for Phil - that now he's lost his wife and the pub he so really wanted. I'm assuming that will mean that the game is up. Sharon has the Vic and Kayden and Phil ends up living at his home alone? I feel sorry for Phil, I did kinda want things to go his way, but in all honesty, who else truly belongs behind that bar? Who has had the longest history with the place? It would only seem right for Sharon to have it back, it was where she grew up and where she has had many many iconic Sharon moments. (Sharongate and the death of her father Dirty Den). I think it was a perfect ending for the soap to finish on.

Good evening everyone! Hope you've had a good day! It's just hit me that after tonight's episode, we'll only have two episodes to view until the soap goes off air. I'm feeling a touch of sadness but I'm really hoping it won't be too long until the soap will be back on our screens. We should enjoy the last few episodes while we can! I just hope that come the last episode, it won't end on such big cliff hanger - i'll be so frustrated that I'll have to wait for such a lengthy period of time to find out the outcome! I'm sure you guys feel the same way? Let's just hope we're not waiting for months on end!

So tonight's episode was quite full packed wasn't it? I'm going to briefly start with Rainie and Max, it's really nice to see Rainie in a completely different light. I do fear that she will always been known as the terrible drug addict, and I guess there is always a possibility she could go back to her bad ways, but it's so nice to see her living a happy life. She's not interested in taking Max for his money. As she said, she has a good job and stable home as well as someone who loves her for who she is, plus she's clean, she's living her best life right now! Why would she need Max's money? She will find the money eventually for her wedding to Stuart and hopefully they'll have a happy life together. I thought it was really sweet when she said to Max that she actually wanted him to be happy to, I think that's all everyone wants. Max has had his fair share of women on the square but I believe only 2 of those women have made him genuinely happy - Tanya and Stacey! I do hope in time Max will meet someone and he'll be able to be happy, properly, once again.

So, does this mean Dotty and Peter are going to make a go of things? Even regarding that Dotty knows about Ian's secret. It's obvious that Ian is not going to approve, but in all honesty, what can he do? He can't threaten Dotty to leave his son alone, she will only threaten to reveal his secret. Ian is just going to have to suck it up and deal with it and hope to God that Dotty doesn't spill the beans. I know I've mentioned this already, but I can't help thinking about Bobby - even though he's not been seen in recent episodes, he was the one who started off having feelings for Dotty in the first place, how is he going to feel now knowing his brother has gone off with her? I didn't really know what to make of the scene where Dotty was trying to impress Peter by going for the jog ... I guess she wasn't trying to impress him, maybe just get his attention?! Again, like their flirting, I found it a bit cringe-worthy. But you know, each to their own? Do any of you guys ship Dotty and Peter? Or would you prefer to see them with other people? Perhaps you would've preferred Dotty to be with Vinny? They did start up a good, close friendship ... let me know what you guys think! Only thing now is, I have a feeling that Ian's secret isn't going to be kept secret for much longer?

Speaking of ships - does anyone else ship Billy and Karen? Poor Billy! Okay, the flour bomb was funny, but I did kinda feel that somehow, maybe he doesn't belong with the Taylor family. Mitch has done everything in his power to make him feel uncomfortable - even saying that he and Karen won't last for long and that Karen always goes running back to him. Mitch is clearly jealous! But I do feel that Billy does deserve happiness - however, what is going to happen when Honey returns? I'm assuming she will at some point, I don't think we've seen the last of her. But what is going to happen if Honey comes back and finds out that Billy has suddenly moved in with Karen? Isn't that going to break her heart? I mean, okay, Billy did cheat on her and she attempted to move on with Adam, but look how that turned out for the poor woman. She lost her self-esteem and confidence which caused her to relapse on her eating disorder, she then decided she had to leave the Square until she felt herself again, leaving poor Billy on his own. It's nice to see Billy happy with someone but I don't know whether he'll be able to commit to Karen, or whether he'll be able to feel he belongs with the Taylor family, especially with Mitch always at the sidelines, watching in on his relationship with Karen. What do you guys think? Do you think Billy and Honey will be meant to be? Or do you think he can gel well with Karen and the Taylor's and be a part of their family?! Also - yes! I am going to mention that EastEnders did make a comment about the size of Billy's manhood!!!!!! Sorry, but we don't want to know that, thank you!!!

Swiftly moving on ... I do wish that Phil and Sharon would come to some form of understanding with each other. I can understand both sides of spectrum ... Sharon made a terrible mistake of firstly, cheating on Phil, and then secondly giving up her own baby, but now she's trying to do the right thing and bring up her son with the man she loves. However, I can understand Phil's perspective aswell, he was heartbroken when he found out that Kayden wasn't his, considering he had adopted Sharon's elder son and became a father to him, to then lose him in awful circumstances, I guess he can't help but blame Sharon for Dennis's death. I do kinda think Phil is right, if she hadn't have slept with Keanu and got pregnant, none of this would've happened and Dennis would still be around now. It's clear that they do deeply still love each other, but Phil can't find it in himself to bring up another man's baby. When Ian came to collect Sharon's things, I love the way Phil put him in his place, its been obvious that Ian has been swooning over Sharon - Phil isn't stupid, he can see what he's trying to do! Hopefully Sharon will come to realise that also and will find out the truth about Dennis's death. I loved the scene between Linda and Phil, I think the words that Linda rang truth - you can't break a bond between a mother and their child, Phil and Sharon should be able to work things through because of their love for each other, if they want to be together, they should be able to be strong and make it work. However, I was surprised as Phil's revelation! So he is going to be moving into the Vic?! Is that going to be such a good idea, considering his past with the building? I mean, it was once his home also, but Sharon also lived there, could this mean they could end up fighting for the property? Or is Sharon going to remain living with Ian or will she live in the Mitchell household while Phil moves into the Vic?! I'm really eager to see what happens with that one, but I do feel we're going to have to wait a while unfortunately.

Uh-Oh! I have a bad feeling that things could be going from bad to worse for Chantelle. After asking Gray if she could use his car to do an errand for Kheerat, Gray was already annoyed that she was doing Kheerat favours, why is she still doing more? He made it perfectly clear that he didn't want her running around after him. I kinda panicked when Suki asked - wait no - told Chantelle to do those favours for her, it was just going to put her in an even worse situation with Gray. Even though I did think to myself after Chantelle missed her phone call from Gray whilst in the car, after Suki left, why didn't she just ring him back and explain? - But I know, that would've been too easy! - This is EastEnders after all and nothing is ever straight forward as that! So Gray has a tracker on his car, was he watching where Chantelle was going or had been? Then he realised it had been driven someone on a day it was supposed to be at the garage. Us viewers know that Ben used the car last week to drive himself to the job Danny and Phil were at. Gray has already asked Chantelle where she went that day and obviously, Chantelle has nothing to do with it, but Gray unfortunately doesn't believe her, he is going to be jumping to all sorts of conclusions, even possibly thinking that Chantelle is cheating on him? Is he going to become violent with her again? This is why I worry for Chantelle so much, she can't put a foot wrong otherwise Gray will hurt her, physically. The violence that he has put her through is horrific, I fear that until Gray finds out the truth about his car, he's going to become physically abusive towards her again. But even though Gray is paranoid about his wife's whereabouts, he's the one who kissed another woman - well technically she kissed him! Gray has been an absolute rock for Whitney in recent weeks as he's taken on her case. She's currently staying with them and over time, Whitney has become more and more infatuated with Gray. He's been so kind to her, saying all sorts of nice things to support her, even though - I do feel as though he was pushing and pushing her for more information when he took her back to the scene where Leo died, he kept saying "Go on! Carry on!", pushing her and forcing her to relive the moments when Leo died. I kinda found that a little hard to watch, I mean it was brilliant acting from Shona McGarty, but Whitney has already been through so much and she's told the story over and over again, why should she have to relive it? - Anyway she's become so in awe of Gray and his kindness towards her, she suddenly kissed him. Now we knew this was coming, but what does this mean now? Will Gray respond and act and perhaps have an affair with Whitney? Will Whitney be completely apologetic and try and forget the kiss happened? Will Chantelle find out?

Monday 8th June 2020

Good evening everyone! It's so nice to finally put up a post directly after en episode has aired on a Monday night! I hope everyone has had a good week, unfortunately there has been some news, we know that EastEnders will be going off air due to the soap cast and crew not being able to film any more episodes due to this pandemic, and it looks as if EastEnders will come off air on 16th June, so from what I understand, we only have 2 weeks of episodes left until the soap leaves us temporarily. However - on Monday evenings it has been announced that there will be documentaries in it's place, all based on the soap. EastEnders: Secrets From The Square will be hosted by Stacey Dooley and will feature behind the scenes footage and interviews from our favourite actors including Kellie Bright, Letitia Dean, Diane Parish, Adam Woodyatt and Danny Dyer amongst others. I, for one, feel this will be a good way for me to get my weekly fix of Albert Square. It may not be the best, but at least it's something to keep the fans happy. I'm not 100% sure whether cast and crew have returned to filming, but hopefully the soap will be back on our screens as soon as we know it! Let's enjoy the next two weeks as much as we can!

Did anyone else feel tonight's episode was a bit of an emotional one? There were only a few moments that really tugged at my heart strings. Overall a very interesting episode, I'm going to jump in straight away by saying, does anyone else find Dotty and Peter's flirting really cringe-worthy? I mean, the way Dotty purposely pushed out her booty for Peter to get a good glimpse of as she looked at the car at the Car Lot... sorry, but I just found it cringe-y! I mean, it was obvious they both had feelings for each other - but then Dotty is kinda fighting against her feelings as everyone knows she's hiding a secret about Ian. As she explained to Ruby, "I can't like him!" - If Peter was to find out what happened, what would that mean for, not just his family, but for him and Dotty also? Will Dotty even allow herself to get involved romantically with Peter?! And what about Bobby? The other Beale brother who has got feelings for Dotty also! I don't know about you lot, but I can this one just turning out to be a big mess, it's not going to look pretty for Ian once everything comes out.

Speaking of Ian, when he got emotional during the ceremony for Dennis, that was all down to guilt? Wasn't it? Everyone is claiming Ian to be the hero and telling them how they're all proud of him for doing so much for Dennis since his passing, and yet he's hiding this deep dark secret, that in fact he might've been to blame for Dennis's death. The moment when Phil was stood there looking teary and actually said "He was my boy!" - that got to me a little bit! He may not have been the lad's biological father, but he loved that boy like he was his own! I do feel once Sharon, Phil, Kathy, Peter and others know - pretty much everyone will turn their back on Ian when the secret eventually comes out. What is Ian going to do then?!

Okay, so Whitney is struggling to get back to some form of normality. When she smashed the vase at the beginning of the episode, you could she see was clearly spooked, it was if the smash of glass caused her to reflect on what happened the night Leo died. I do feel for Whitney in a way, although I just think she's heading into something much more sinister. It's becoming clear that she's slowly gaining feelings towards Gray while he's helping her on her case. She refused to speak to him about any previous relationships she may have had, so Gray took it upon himself to speak to Linda about Whitney's relationship with Lee. During this chat, Linda revealed to Gray that Lee had depression and did end up hitting Whitney one, the way Gray then reacted and left, part of me kinda felt it could've meant two things? One - a big thing to help Whitney in her case, he could use the information that she has been abused in previous relationships (which to be fair, is true) more than once ... but also it might've rung a truth for Gray, that he has beaten Chantelle in the past, is Whitney as vulnerable and sensitive as Chantelle is? It kinda made me think, it could've been one of those - both of those reasons, or it could be none of those reasons at all - it just made me think by how quickly he left the room. What do you guys think about that revelation? Do you have any thoughts?

Awwwww did anyone else feel for poor Karen? My heart was aching for her the whole entire episode. She really didn't want to give Kayden back did she?  She's been a mother to that poor child since he was born, and it was time for her to give him back to Sharon. I did feel for her, when she was flapping on getting him the right dummy, and then telling Sharon exactly what she knew about the infant, regarding his favourite toys and his routine. It looked a bit overwhelming for Sharon I think, part of me kinda felt that Sharon wanted to do things her way now she has Kayden back, but maybe the information Karen has given her, she will find may help? I just hope that now Sharon has Kayden back, she won't shut everyone else out, I hope she'll still let Karen see him and still ask for help when she needs it. Did anyone else feel for Phil? It was true he was never going to be able to accept another man's baby into his life, especially considering how he once thought the child was his. He's still clearly grieving over Dennis and he's trying to do everything in his power to keep Sharon happy, even by buying her The Vic so they could move there and start a fresh. Even though I did have a slight hope that Phil would be able to accept Kayden, it was never going to happen was it? As soon as he found out Keanu was the biological father, he's not had anything to do with the child, which is understandable. I do feel that Sharon forcing him to try and bond with Kayden, leaving them alone together on purpose - I don't know, was it good idea? Was it bad idea? I'm not too sure, I guess there was a slight hope he'd look into the child's eyes and see he's just innocent in all this. Especailly when he put the teddy in the child's sleeping basket, I did think perhaps Phil could take a chance and make it work with both Kayden and Sharon and be a family. But when he said to Sharon that every time he sees him he just thinks "He's a Taylor!", I just felt very sad ... for all of them, both Sharon and Phil. Forcing Sharon to choose once again between her child and her husband, it's just an awful situation to be in again, but I didn't think Sharon would make the same mistake twice, she chose her son. Which meant that that was the end for her and Phil. But now, does this mean Phil won't buy her the Vic? Is she going to end up living at Ian's with the baby? Will they ever be able to look past this and be able to move on as a family and bring up Kayden together? I'm not so sure! What do you think could be in store for Sharon and Phil next?

Monday 6th April 2020

Good evening people! How was your weekend? I know things have been a bit scary the past few days with things getting pretty serious in the news. I'm sure feeling as much relief as I am to escape into our soaps this week. So last week, it was quite a biggy. Dennis's funeral and Phil finally came back! We last saw Phil hand himself into the police due to him feeling guilty and responsible for young Dennis's death. Unfortunately, I don't have any spoilers for you guys tonight, so instead we're going to jump right into tonight's episode. I'm sure you've been looking forward to it as much as I have!

Quite a lot happened tonight don't you think? Lets start with Vinny shall we? He clearly is still very annoyed with his Mum for lying about having cancer, it's struggling to move on from it from the looks of things. How can his brothers be alright with their Mum after what she did?! Vinny obviously can't stand being around his Mum at the moment, especially the way she spoke to him! For a moment I thought to myself, "What a horrible mother!" ... I've got a bad feeling about Suki, I think she's going to manipulate all of her children just to get her way or something. Whatever it may be, I just don't have a good feeling about her and something, eventually will happen, and her character will get worse and worse ... almost like another female villain! ... But, I could be wrong, we shall have to see. I feel it's going to take a long time for Vinny to get over what Suki did, as well as Ash too I imagine, as she never really had a good relationship with her Mum in the first place. Is DJ-ing the one way that Vinny can escape? Will Ruby give him a place at the club? I feel he'll give the club a different vibe and it'll be the place for him to meet new people and interact with other characters we've not seen him gel with yet. I'm looking forward to seeing his character progress. I'm starting to like these Panesar boys, I think there's still loads to come from them and I'm hoping they will get their own very big story-line in the future. Will their Dad come back after being in prison and cause a stir on the square? There's still more to come from them that's for sure!

So, is Karen really going to leave? I, for one, don't believe she will, there will be a twist of fate or something will happen and she'll end up staying on the square. I kinda felt sorry for Billy, who else is enjoying seeing Billy and Karen as a couple? Even though I've always loved Billy being with Honey, it's nice to see him having some kind of happiness with Karen ... Speaking of which, where has Honey gone? She's not been seen since her food story-line ... did she leave for a break with the kids? What happened? Someone remind me! ... Anyway back to Karen and Billy, it's nice to see them having some kind of happiness together, don't you agree? However, now Mitch has thrown a spanner in the works telling Karen he loves her! Uh-Oh! Does that mean that Karen needs to make a choice? Will she stay with Billy or will Mitch give her an offer she wont be able to refuse? I don't really like the way Mitch is using Bailey to get to Karen, she loves that girl as if she was her own, but Karen also needs to stand by her grandson and do what's right. Can she find a way to stay in Walford and find a way to please everyone around her?

Ian is getting desperate now isn't he? He thought he had it all figured out when he nicked the phone and deleted the voice message from Dennis. I'm just going to say it but I love Ian's smug face ... only due to the fact that you know that he's a little weasel, and his smugness will never last, someone will always get one place further or one place higher than him and that smug look will be gone from his face as soon as he realises! It's one of Ian's classic characteristics! However, now Sharon has found the phone in the bin, surely she can only wonder as to what the phone was doing in there? And rightly as Dotty put it, what if Sharon saw the CCTV from the Arches of Ian nicking the phone, what would be so important for him to hide?! Oooo it's getting good now, and I think it's only a matter of time before Sharon finds out what Ian's been hiding, only how Sharon finds out remains to be a mystery ... who things she'll find out pretty soon? Or will it be quite a while before she finds out? How long are EE going to prolong this revelation?! I've said it before and I'm going to say it again, but as Bobby has shown a bit of an interest in Dotty, and we know the two Beale brothers are going to fall for her, but will Dotty play them both off together to get to Ian? We've already seen Ian warn Bobby off her but I do think Dotty will play this to her advantage to get what she wants, it's the perfect way isn't it? Use Ian's son to get to him and blackmail him that way, it makes sense right? I mean, it'll be horrible for Bobby and Peter in the long run as i'm sure both of them will genuinely care for Dotty and get feelings for her, or, who knows? Maybe she'll start to grow feelings for both of them? It's an interesting twist and i'm looking forward to seeing what happens. What do you guys think?!

Ahhh okay, so another one of my theories have become even more solid now! Remember I suggested that Sharon might be the one who get's the Vic? Well my theory feels more fact now after tonight's episode. When Sharon was talking to Linda in the Vic talking about old times and how she felt so happy living there, did you see Linda's face?! What better thing could she do for her best friend right now, than giving her the place she grew up and once felt happy and safe. I truly thought Linda was going to suggest it to Mick, I still think she will, she'll put the idea to Mick and then they'll offer it to Sharon, whether she comes up with an offer or not. I am more convinced now that Sharon will get the Vic! Who else agrees? Do you think the new owners of the Vic could be someone else? Let me know what your theories are!

The main focus of tonight's episode, again was Phil and Sharon and once again I want to applaud the performances of Letitia Dean and Steve McFadden. Who else found it upsetting to see Phil lying in a jail cell? It upset me briefly, it's the one place we've never seen Phil and, to be honest, I don't really want to see Phil in a jail cell, he may have a bit of a reputation but ... he's a good really, isn't he? He's a softie at heart! The most important thing to him and the Mitchell's has always been family, so I can understand why Phil feels the need to hand himself in, even though it was a terrible accident. Who else was happy to see Ritchie back? She's always been a great part whenever the Mitchell family have been in trouble with the law, I enjoyed seeing her back tonight. The shock on poor Ben's face when he realised what was going on with his Dad, he knew exactly what he had to do, and thank God Sharon listened! I'm so happy the police let Phil go after she changed her statement, it was as if they really didn't care on what he wanted to say. It felt so nice to see Ben and Phil finally reunited, that hug ... I felt that! It was pure relief! However, there's still that little bit of information that Phil doesn't know about Ben's hearing loss, I feel it's going to be sad when he learns what's happening with his son, even finding out that Karen is now caring for Kayden was probably a bit of a shock for him too. That last scene between Phil and Sharon, I found it a little emotional ... the way Sharon was talking about Phil being a Dad to Dennis, seeing them both cry ... they are both grieving for a lad they both loved dearly. They are grieving parents and it's only right that they seek comfort in each other, it's probably the one thing that is going to get them through this grief. Does Sharon still love Phil? I believe he still loves her, but is Sharon playing with Phil's emotions just to get back at him? I'm a bit unsure but I do hope that it's just a genuine emotion that they are both feeling and they are leaning on each other to get through it. I love Phil, he's one of my favourite characters, always has been and even though he acts as the hard-man the majority of the time, there are times we will see him cry and it's so hard to watch, I feel. It's like watching your Dad cry! Steve McFadden is an asset to the soap and he deserves all the recognition in the world! I'm intrigued to seeing how the two of them can move on, will they rekindle their marriage to get through this, or will it simply tear them apart? Who knows? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing more from this current story-line!  

Good Evening folks! How have you all been during the past week? I know it's been hard having to stay indoors and try and keep yourself occupied. I've been finding it hard since my workplace closed, and with EastEnders only being on twice a week, it's hard to find things to watch in the evenings. I know how you're all feeling, let's hope that all this that's going on in the world can be slowed down and in time they'll be able to gain control of this awful virus.

Firstly, before we get into tonight's episode, let's talk about the trailer that was dropped on Friday evening. Give us a lot to look forward to during these next few episodes i'm sure! Dotty is still blackmailing Ian after she found out about him trapping Dennis in the boat crash. We know there's going to be some kind of love triangle between her and the two Beale brothers, but will she get what she's really after? The Arches? Will she persuade Ian to get Ben to sign them over to her? Or will she play both Peter and Bobby to get to Ian? I can it being an interesting story-line. 

We also see Linda reaching for the bottle again, but it doesn't necessarily show us her drinking, only sniffing the bottle. Is she about to have a setback?? What i'm interested in is, what actually happens for her to reach and sniff the bottle anyway? Does something happen or is it just left there on a table and she's trying to beat the temptation?! Mick is selling The Vic, could this be what actually makes it the final straw for Linda and will he act fast into selling the pub?! It also appears to be the funeral of Dennis's funeral tonight ... how is Sharon going to cope?! Phil is back and is desperate to speak to Sharon, what could it be about?! I have a feeling it's going to kick off at Dennis's funeral tonight, either Sharon will find out how Dennis died and Ian's involvement, or she'll blame Phil and attack him in some way (Physically or Verbally) ... there is always some sort of reveal or confrontation at an EastEnders funeral, right?!

Ooooooohhhhhh Ben finally says those three words all Ballum fans have been longing to hear!! What makes him finally say these words to Callum? Whatever it may be, i'm looking forward to seeing that episode!! I believe there's been some news, although it could just be a rumour going round, of Grey and Whitney having an affair?! Has this story been confirmed? Is it word of mouth?! Although in the last episode, we did see Whitney give Grey a hug, maybe looking to be comforted as she realises she still feels unsafe in her own home after being released from prison. It's true it did look a bit to cosy, but who knows? It's an interesting rumour and I'm not sure how i'm going to feel if it turns out to be true. For one, Whitney is Chantelle's good friend, why would she do that to her?! Grey, even though he treats his wife appallingly, every time he goes to apologise, he always tells her he loves her. So, who knows what could happen between Whitney and Grey? What do you guys think of this rumour?

Anyway, lets get right stuck into tonight's episode ... Looks like a lot happened tonight, obviously the main focus being young Dennis's funeral. Again, I need to applaud the performance of Letitia Dean, she's been absolutely fantastic acting as the grieving mother over the past few episodes. It was a good one tonight, I was going to say emotional, but there was also a bit of drama there also. 

Dotty is still buzzing around Ian like a queen bee, trying to make sure he's doing what she told him to do. Will she end up having The Arches? Will Ian somehow trick Ben into signing them over to her?! Even when Ian was doing that speech on behalf of Sharon, it was obvious how uncomfortable Ian looked, while Dotty was watching him from across the Square. It looked like she was struggling to get through the day also, when she saw Dennis's coffin and then to see Sharon and the state she was in, she can't be telling Sharon the truth as it will destroy the poor woman even more. However, that does not mean that she wont tell someone else or maybe worse, go to the press about it. The conversation she had with Vinny about liars should pay, she has definitely got a plan up her sleeve. I liked the little friendship going on between Dotty and Vinny, it seemed liked both characters clicked. 

The Panesar boys are still coming to terms with their mother's lies, I think hense why Vinny listened to Dotty and kinda understood what she was saying in some way. Vinny is taking to graffiti and possibly befriending Dotty to cope with Suki lying about cancer. Whereas Jags is cosy-ing up to Habiba. Suki still doesn't care about that impact her actions have taken on her boys, she doesn't care she lied about having cancer, I'm still baffled as to how someone can even do that, it is the lowest of the low! A part of me felt a bit angry that she was even talking about Ben about the loss of Dennis. How dare she give him her condolences.   Really felt for Ben in tonight's episode, firstly being banned from the funeral of a young lad he once saw as his younger brother, that moment when Ben and Callum and sat on the bench watching the hearse leave, it was pretty sad for Ben in that moment, did anyone else notice Callum slightly brush the side of Ben's leg?! Really touching I felt, Callum still trying to be there for his boyfriend, even fixing his tie for him at the beginning of the episode. I'm glad Ben still decided to go the pub to remember Dennis, he was right, Sharon couldn't stop him going to a pub! Ben is coping with a lot at the moment, losing his hearing and also grieving for Dennis. I can understand Jack's concern for Callum, but Callum can make up his own mind about who he sees and who he falls in love, I don't really think it's anyone's business who Callum dates. He can still be in a relationship with Ben (regardless of his history) and still be part of the police force, I mean, why not?! 

I really felt for Linda when Sharon was shouting at her over the pizza, it's clear Sharon wanted everything perfect for her son's last day, it's a shame Linda had to be on the end of her outburst. I think it was the last thing the pair of them needed, Sharon desperate for her son's funeral to go perfectly without a hitch, and Linda to be yelled at and insulted by her best friend after everything she's been through trying to get her life back on track. It's so sweet that Mick is standing by his wife, complementing her and telling her how proud he is of her, it's the Mick and Linda everyone enjoys seeing. Although, when Linda did say she could be one of those people who just has the one drink, my mind did think "Uh-Oh!" ... and when that moment came when she was in the kitchen, oh my mind was racing .... first she walks into the room and sees the vodka bottle ... "Come on, you can do it!" ... she ignores it and heads right for the tea and flings a teabag in the cup ... "Yes, Linda! Good girl!" ... to then her grabbing the bottle and sniffing it ... "Don't do it!" ... Putting the teabag away and pouring the vodka ... "Noooo!!!! Don't do it!" .... Lifting the cup to her lips and drinking it in one gulp ... "Noooooooooo!!! She'll be pouring herself another cup now!" .... then she surprisingly put the lid back on and put the bottle in the cupboard, "Ahhh, is she trying to prove she can just take the one drink and be okay?" ... to then noticing a pen mark on the bottle marking the amount of alcohol inside ... "Oh no! What she going to do now?" .... Then again, she could just throw the bottle down the sick and tell Mick she didn't have any and it was to save her the temptation? Or would that just be a little too easy? It'll be interesting to see what happens next, will she come clean and tell Mick she just had the one, or will he find the bottle before she gets a chance to explain herself? 

Poor poor Sharon, no one should ever have to face burying their child. Letitia Dean has been fantastic the past few episodes. She really despises the Mitchell's at the minute doesn't she? Not even accepting a wreath off Ben, Lola and Lexi ... she didn't even want any of the Mitchell's at the funeral, she's even going by her maiden name now, "Sharon Watts" and even though Phil adopted Dennis, she's now given him his old name "Dennis Rickman Jr". It's as if she's wiped the Mitchell name from her life for good, mainly because she blames Phil for Dennis's death. I found the moment when everyone went the the cars a bit emotional, with the music playing. It seems really touching as a send off for a young character, everyone getting in their cars and then people on the Square watching them drive away, I just found it very touching. Since Ian gave Karen that warning about leaving Walford with Kayden, I've said I wonder how Sharon will react, I'm a bit surprised she seemed okay with it, probably because she's seen it as him doing her a favour, but surely there must be something else? I do think somehow, someway, Sharon will find out what Ian did ... whether it's from Dotty or someone else or another twist of fate. Ooooohh Phil is back, where has he been and what has he got to say to Sharon? She didn't look best pleased to see him when he walked into the Vic! It's all about to kick off tomorrow, I don't know about you guys but i'm really looking forward to seeing how the episode will unfold tomorrow!
