@dottirmikaelson liked for a valentines starter
She’s never celebrated a Valentines, but she sent flowers to Rebekah’s doorstep and a suggestive, yet vague letter about how patience is virtue –– and if they’re keeping their relationship in the DL like she’d promised, then Hayley couldn’t exactly just show up at the Mikaelson’s house on a Valentine’s day morning with all her bearings and get away with it. So she doesn’t; she shows up later (late), when her parents have retired to their beds she can get away with sneaking up the stairs unnoticed (except for Elijah, who greets her on the way up like an old friend and nods her way to Rebekah’s bedroom). And when she’s closing the door behind her, with a barely audible click and encounters Rebekah sitting at her vanity, she shrugs off her jacket, throws it on one of Rebekah’s colorful ottomans, and ties her hair in a high pony as she approaches her. ❛ I heard a secret admirer sent you some flowers this morning.❜
