I used to think strength meant surviving the storm. Now I know it means knowing who I am

even when everything around me tries to pull me apart. Some roots grow in silence but they hold forever. I stayed, I grew, I rooted myself deeper and that changed everything.

There is something rare about reaching the stage where silence no longer needs to be filled. When you can sit beside someone without searching for the next topic, without feeling pressure to entertain, impress, or explain yourself. Just existing together becomes enough.

Most connections are built on conversation, but the deepest ones are often revealed in silence. It is easy to talk for hours when everything is new. It is much harder to find someone whose presence feels comforting even when neither of you has anything to say.

That kind of silence is a luxury. A quiet understanding that says, "I enjoy being here with you, even when words are absent." To find someone who makes silence feel safe rather than awkward is one of the rarest forms of connection life has to offer. 🤎 ❤️🧡

The concept of royal families may sound like something out of fairytale books nowadays, but some countries still live by the monarchy system. Though the English royalty is certainly more scandalous, learn it all about our favorite European princess, Princess Dorothea of Genovia, the heir apparent to the Genovian throne!

Princess Dorothea Anna Isla of Genovia, named after her two grandmothers, was born on a public hospital in 1982, on September 25th, being the first child of King Gregory II and Queen Louise and the heir to the throne. She is widely loved on her country and was nicknamed as "Dotty" by the Genovian press. She attended public schools from an early age, reportedly not receiving any preferential treatments from the faculties (it's a known fact among Genovians that Princess Dorothea was a below average student at Chemistry). She publicly supports innumerous progressive social and economic causes, such as climate activism, women's rights, class consciousness and LGBT movements. 

The Princess is considered a fairly radical figure on Genovian's political matter, and her opposition consists of the older sections of the Genovian government. About the monarchy system, Princess Dorothea has confessed to "[I] believe that in a country ruled by a parliament, a royal family is a mere formality. We are only here to serve the country. Besides the obligations and the shiny crowns on our heads, which I would see no problem to return to the people, don’t think of us any different from what you would think of any stranger."

That situation was the closest thing to a political crisis Genovia ever faced, demonstrating how a tranquil place is Genovia to live, being also considerated one of the most progressive countries in Europe. That's how Princess Dorothea managed to live a normal life, aside from the shining tiaras and the princess duties. She graduated with major honors and a Social Science degree at University of Sorbonne, and she reportedly choose to study in France to have more freedom. There, she became a kind of fashion icon and began to suffer from paparazzi attacks. She only returned to Genovia five years after her graduation, for she desired to have a simple life, and attended only the most important Genovian events during that period of time.

At 39 years old, Princess Dorothea remains a symbol of the best that Genovia can offer. Nowadays, her biggest controversy is her love life. The Princess has never publicly stated a romantic relationship with anyone, though it’s known that she has had boyfriends (and girlfriends). It's said that she plans to abdicate her title in favor of her younger brother, Prince Daniel.
