This blue sequined gown was first seen on Doris Day as Ruth Etting in the 1955 film π³πππ π΄π πΆπ π³ππππ π΄π. The costume was utilized again in the 1956 film π΄πππ π΄π π°π π³ππ π½ππππ, where Cyd Charisse wore it as Maria Corvier. However, the gown has been altered, with the majority of the feather trim being removed and the skirt being shortened significantly.
