Yeah I know it's a kids manga series, yada yada yada, but how the fuck did the Dorabase characters with fuckoff huge ears like Shiroemon and Amoll fit their goddamn ears under their hats????

Dorabase is amazing because it's the kind of story a ten-year-old fan would come up with for their favorite media where they'd just throw in all of their hobbies and interests into one story and also create their own self-insert to put in there for good measure (speaking from experience btw). Like even the name "Dorabase" is built like one of those AU names you see fandoms come up with. And then you read it and yeah it has all the craziness and hijinks you'd expect a fan AU of Doraemon to have, except maybe with better art and writing.

And then you remember THIS IS AN OFFICIALLY LICENSED MANGA SERIES that got published INTERNATIONALLY,

So anyway i frickin ADORE this series.

I MEAN JUST IMAGINE having something that is that dear and personal to you be something that anyone can come across in a bookstore, that’s honestly kind of scary but also isn’t it so cool that such a thing exists!!!
