What does your company do?
Dope Dog is a dog's #1 choice for CBD. We create safe and effective CBD products designed specifically for dogs, helping pet parents find solutions to help cope with many common ailments like anxiety, inflammation, postoperative pain, etc.
When and why did you create it?
My partner Michael and I created Dope Dog because of the issues our dog James’ faced. He was suffering from joint pain after two ACL surgeries and we were looking for alternatives to having him on prescription pills for the rest of his life. With no holistic products on the market to help James' post-surgery pain we saw a need to bring a quality wellness product line for dogs to life. Between this realization and discovering the benefits of CBD in our own personal use, Dope Dog was born!
Who are your customers?
Dog owners and dog lovers! I am lucky in the sense that all Dope Dog customers are dog people and those are the best kind of people, in my opinion. Our customers range from new pet parents who just adopted a rescue dog, to owners with multiple furry family members. One thing all our customers have in common is a desire to provide a better life for their dog. Whether they are promoting longevity or preventing pain during end of life care, they see results with the benefits of CBD.
What makes your company unique?
We love to have fun and create community for our “Dope Dogs”. We host giveaways and contests on social media and are always looking to try something new. Just last month, we celebrated our 3 year anniversary and surprised our customers with a free gift! They loved it so much we have committed to partnering with a new brand every month to include a gift with purchase for all Dope Dog subscribers each month.
What sets you apart from others in the industry?
One thing that sets Dope Dog apart from others in the industry is our CBD. We use 100% CBD isolate, not full-spectrum cannabis. Because isolate is pure CBD and nothing more, it provides for accurate dosing and higher efficacy. In addition, isolate is odorless and tasteless which makes our treats beyond palatable. Dogs love them!
What is most popular with your customers?
Dope Dogs love the Calming Crunchies. It's hard to find a CBD treat that actually tastes good! Our most popular recipe is our Peanut Butter.
Anything new coming up you want to share?
This fall we are excited to be launching our holiday exclusive, "Merry Munchies" CBD treats. Our signature seasonal pumpkin turmeric recipe is a fan favorite. In addition to being delicious, the ingredients pumpkin and turmeric provide additional health benefits for improved digestion and reduced inflammation.
