This is an idea that came about rather organically: I WAS stressing out about this concept, and it was giving me creative block. Hence... make a strip ABOUT the thing that's giving me blockage. Huzzah! This one, I need to add a LOT of special thanks to for inspiration. There's Chic and Dean Young's BLONDIE. Gary Trudeau's DOONESBURY, General 1920s and 1930 cartoons, but also a wink nod to Chuck Jones and Looney Tunes. And finally, the work of Robert Crumb and Harvey Pekar. This was a LOT of fun to draw, and looks a LOT different in color over on PATREON!

This was removed from all Gannett papers. It's a travesty for many reasons, + though GT is surely fine, it's another example of how conditions for cartoonists keep getting worse + worse: positions eliminated, cartoons with bite being purged, fees decimated, outlets disappearing.

Doonesbury was there to satirize the training, and unknowingly foreshadowed Cheney’s future mis-use of classified information. About 30 years later, Cheney was involved in leaking classified information in the Plame Affair to silence criticism of his war in Iraq."
