New Year's was a holiday Dream loved, truly and tenderly. He always had enough food at this time; everyone was kinder, more cheerful, and so distracted by their own happiness that they never had to watch their wallets or pockets.
Dream loved New Year's even after he met Sapnap and celebrated the holiday with them. It was strange, unusual, sitting with them at a family meal, but at some point, he was definitely happy. Perhaps Sapnap truly considered him a brother back then.
Now, with Phil and Techno, everything seems cozy. They don't force him to do anything; Dream mostly lies on the couch by the fireplace, warming himself under the hounds, while Phil bustles about in the kitchen and Techno tries to decorate the room. The routine of the holiday lulls him to sleep, and happiness softens him.
Dream falls asleep before they even sit down at the table. He wakes up in the morning in a nest full of feathers and pink fur, and somehow manages to crawl down to find presents by the window and melted snow on the sill. He's no longer a child, but a smile spreads across his face with unacceptably speed and breadth.
He giggles as he unwraps the gift; Dream hasn't felt this happy in a long time.
Happy New Year, thank you for continuing to follow my blog! May the next year bring only good things! and this is a small drabble, my gift to you <3

in admin au cPhil has a poor memory for faces, so he gives people he's promised protection small pendants in the shape of his fake heart. He never gives a full copy to regular players, and only a few are honored to wear his real symbol.
On the server, only cDream and cTechno have the original heart.
Players like cTommy, cWilbur, cRanboo, and cNiki wear fake ones so cPhil can recognize them. It's not like there are that many players on the server, but he doesn't particularly want to bother remembering them. For the same reason, he generally doesn't address people by name.
Some players from the Primordial World keep this pendant as a family heirloom and pass it down from generation to generation.
cPhilza, an elytrian (I like to think of the End's people as being Scandinavian/Celtic based)
Straight and somewhat aristocratic features suit him, blue eyes, some dark grey, even black feathers behind his pointed ears. He has a cluster of emeralds in his ear, his only adornment. Light hair, blond and silver on the crown and temples. Noticeable wrinkles at the corners of the eyes, a well-defined crease by the nose, small lines of wrinkles on the forehead.
Fingers that turn into sharp claws, strong arms, shoulders broad enough to appear thin in layers of clothing, feathers on the back of the neck and shoulders that hide the muscles. Shoulder blades that turn into wings, powerful and sharp in the right situation.
A fairly toned body, age-related fat on the belly, small sides.
Narrow hips, surprisingly strong legs for a flying creature, the legs of a man who spends days exploring mountainous terrain. The claws on his toes are slightly shorter than those on his hands.
cPhil's clothes are loose, not restrictive, in shades of fir and pine needles, with a knee-length cape, insulated with hound fur, with a fabric belt with a bag for herbs and potions. Trousers in a muted brown, loose and warm. Boots in color, neat and high enough to overcome the snow without problems.
cTechno
Piglin is different from humans. He is taller, wider and stronger.
He is furry and light pink, he has enough scars, but many are hidden by the fur. His arms are large, his shoulders are wide enough to accommodate cPhil and allow him to move comfortably. He has only three fingers with claws on the ends, they are not very sharp, and he cannot rip the throat of an opponent with them in one swing, but he does not need to. His palms are rough from hours of training and farming, dry and warm.
cTechno's hair is pink, a little darker than his fur. His hair is as long as a horse's mane. He likes to grow it and braid it.
His eyes are red. This is one of the most common colors for piglins. cTechno does not stand out in this, but people are a little scared of the red color.
cTechno's ears are pierced more than once, ordinary gold earrings and decorated with stones are freely displayed.
An emerald earring on a chain, the most noticeable decoration.
His clothes are practical, but a little pretentious. White frilly shirt and high-waisted pants, cut short at the knee so as not to hinder movement. Belt with potions in easy access. Red padded cloak, even he needs to be warm in the snows of the Arctic.
сDream
After prison, he is thin, puny and terribly sad. Dark circles under his eyes, sunken cheeks and belly, bones that can be counted without difficulty.
His eyes are surprisingly normal, a light green, now partially mixed with gray. They seem dull because of this, and cDream knows that it shouldn't be that way. They were brighter. cPhil says that the color may have changed due to head injuries. cDream is inclined to believe him.
He often gets cold, his scarred skin is sensitive to fabrics, new sweaters made of lambswool irritate him and make him scratch himself until they bleed. Sometimes even ordinary fabric is too chafing.
He is given warm cPhilza's capes lined with fox/wolf fur. He is also drowning in an old, worn-out sweater cTechno bought on Hypixel, made of some kind of anti-allergenic yarn.
His hair is tangled, brittle, and straw-like. It has become lighter, the dirty blonde gone, leaving a shade of pale gold mixed with white. Even after washing and thoroughly combing it, it still looks pathetic. He still does not want to look at himself in the mirror.
He is fragile, his own legs do not support him, his arms cannot even lift a full plate of food without dropping it.
He is missing some of the phalanges of his fingers. The pinky finger on his left hand is completely missing. cDream thinks that his grip will be weird and not as strong as before.
His skin is pale, but his freckles are still there, or those that haven't disappeared because of the scars.
cPhil likes to call cTechno special, because in cPhil's eyes, he is.
cTechza has a pair of emerald jewelry pieces that cTechno made in a fit of his piglin instincts. He spent literally days mining for the purest emeralds, then painstakingly cutting them into perfect diamond shapes to match piglin customs about the meaning of shapes. He also went to the Nether to find gold and dig it up with his bare hands, so he could feel the satisfaction of finding it. Then he smelted a gold mold to make an earring, and since he saw that cPhilza didn't wear long earrings, he decided to start with studs. (He would later make a pendant for cDream.)
He made his jewelry from the leftover gold, enough for a frame and a small chain. And maybe he overdid it a bit with the gold, but then he saw the amount of emeralds and decided that he would soon go to the village to trade.
cTechno likes touching, but he is a little hesitant about it in prison, because cDream is wary of it like fire. It hurts cTechno to watch, he does not want to know how a person can be brought to such a state. He tries to give him as much good as he can, because cDream needs it, and cTechno can only give him this small mercy.
cDream likes sweets. cTechno promises him the most delicious muffins with sweet berries in prison. cDream cries.
cPhilza bakes him a pie with sweet berries when he is feeling better. Dream cries again.
cTechza likes to sit cDream on their laps, they like to keep him safe in their sight. They hug him and change cDream's position with ease, especially when he falls asleep in their laps.
cPhilza covers him with her wings, leaving him in a cocoon. cTechno hugs him with her big arms, giving cDream complete peace.
Kissing with cTechno is difficult, he has a different anatomy, but they have their own analogy to kissing.
cTechza kiss each other like an old married couple, they kiss in the kitchen while they cook, in the bath while they wash cDream, in the forge while cDream sleeps or does other housework. Sometimes they are wild, fighting and dominating each other.
cDreamza kisses deeply, sensually, cPhil gently holds cDream's chin, completely leading in the kiss. cDream is a puddle in his hands.
cTechno kisses cDream softly and anywhere at any time to make him as embarrassed as possible, making him giggle and smile. cTechno is a gentle giant.
cPhilza likes to tease cTechno about his choice of boyfriends, because he brought a mini version of cPhil home. cTechza teases cDream about liking older men. cDream and cTechno tease cPhil about his memory.
cDreamzables like to do mini concerts, where cTechno uses the violin, cPhilza picks up the tambourine, and cDream either sings or plays the flute.
cDream is their little bard, who loves to hum something and experiment with different instruments.
cDream likes to sleep between cTechza, because it is so paradoxically nice there that despite the hateful heat and feeling of constraint, cDream feels completely safe and loved.
cPhilza likes jewelry, but mostly finds it very impractical. Something that can be caught in a fight and throw him off balance. (cPhilza used to wear a lot of jewelry, showed it off in every way. Until someone pulled his ear so hard that the lobe had to be sewn back in place in a panic and сPhil was given healing potions. Then it was a friendly match, and the end of someone else's sword caught an earring on a chain. Much later, he was almost killed when an arrow missed the chain and pinned him in place for an extra couple of seconds. cPhilza miraculously survived when the next poisoned arrow hit him in the right side.)
Now he wears a stud with a diamond-shaped emerald in his left ear, he has gotten used to wearing jewelry again. It no longer bothers him.
cTechno loves jewelry, he is ready to hang himself in it and dress everyone in it. Earrings in the ears, with different stones: one with an emerald on a gold chain, ruby studs, another with small emeralds laid out in a clover leaf, and just gold. Sometimes, on days when he and cPhil are relaxing, he puts on bracers and greaves made of gold, decorated with swirls with a boar's face in the middle, with ravens on the sides and a border with sweet antarctida berries. He pulls out a diamond necklace, rings with rubies and gold.
cDream doesn't wear jewelry. It's not practical, it shows his weaknesses, it points to his attachments.
But he can't give up the diamond-shaped medallion with the emerald. He keeps it under layers of clothes, where no one can see, where it's safest.
In hard times, cDream clings to the medallion, cradles it in his hands and tries to calm himself down after another attack.

What if Dream were to hit his head during a seizure and has a hard time waking up/wrre to go briefly "comatose" of that makes sense? He ends up being fine but techza just had the most massive heart attacks, they probably start considering baby proofing/bubble wrapping the entire house to the best of their abilities
"Relax, mate. Relax. Don't move your head. That's a good lad."
Dream's body came back to him slowly. He felt like he was floating on water-- the ground below him swayed and drifted away from him, and his hands splayed to find something solid to grasp. He found Techno's furry forearm. As his vision returned, he realized that he was cradled gently in the piglin's arms, and both of Phil's hands were on the sides of Dream's head, holding him still.
"Wha--"
"Shh, you're alright. You had a seizure, lad. You hit your head pretty bad. I need you to stay still."
He wondered what was so itchy on the side of his face, and he realized Phil was holding a piece of gauze there. As he tried to focus his vision, he saw a pair of watery blue eyes looking down at him. Techno's hands were trembling on his shoulders.
His head was throbbing. He felt a wince pass his lips-- he might've been making noise this whole time without realizing it.
"What're we gonna do with you, man?" Techno's voice shook. "Scarin' me to death. You went pale."
"You're still pale. God." Phil grazed his fingers over Dream's cheek, "But getting better. Stay with us, just-- just try not to move, okay? Just don't move."
Through the corner of his eye, he noticed a book tossed near the fireplace. A blank book-- one that they bought from an old marketplace so they'd be ready if they ever had to do a revival.
Techza just cuddling Dream, just them holding him so tightly he can’t even move if he wanted, holding each other tightly and being safe
Dream suspected this was the safest spot on the server.
Unrushed and uncaring about the steady passage of time, the two immortals had Dream effectively pinned through most of the afternoon. His back was pressed firmly against Techno's chest and stomach, a heavy piglin arm and leg laying across him like a weighted blanket. Phil was nestled close to Dream's front, a strong hand keeping Dream's forehead comfortingly on Phil's collarbone.
Dream loved the slow, languid affections that colored these afternoons. Techno's hand was trailing through Phil's hair, and although the movement halted when he fell asleep, his fingers were still wrapped around golden strands. Phil, when he shifted or stirred, planted gentle kisses atop Dream's head. The roaring fire and the changeless pace of sleep-ridden breath provided an excellent noisescape for rest; Dream found his own sighs joining the choir. His hands wandered over Phil's torso and Techno's thigh-- the only places he could reach-- as he dipped in and out of awareness, taken by sleep in small bursts.
Outside the arctic, the world wanted Dream dead. There was a black box in the ocean that thirsted for his blood, a god that may or may not be wearing his face, and the undefined veil of death that drew closer to each and every person. Outside the arctic, there was plenty to fear. But here, within the warmth of two bodies that cared for him, he had little choice but to sleep.
Do you think Dream would ever try to hide that he had a seizure because maybe he feels like hes burdening them or maybe hes just too anxious about it? If so how would that mix with possessive techza?
big brain prompt.

-----
Dream was pushing a wheelbarrow of hay when he felt the warning signs of a seizure.
Philza called it the "aura" of the seizure-- the numbness, mild twitching, and fuzz that gathered at the edge of his vision before the stronger spasms hit. Dream thought it was a stupid fucking name. "Aura" made it sound like something spiritual and magical rather than what it was: an inconvenience. He just seized yesterday. They usually came in bursts, but this was getting ridiculous.
Techno was loading hay into the sheep's feeder, and Dream was bringing him more. Trying to bring him more. They were already behind on their chores because his body was so uncooperative, and the thought of causing even more trouble made red rise to his face, even despite the chilly air that bit at him. Techno and Philza made him swear to announce if he ever felt the aura, but...
He abandoned the wheelbarrow and dragged his body to the goat pen, where the wall was just tall enough to hide him when he dropped to the floor. His thigh muscles twitched and he couldn't feel his fingers beneath his gloves. If he could just withstand the worst of it, he could go back to the wheelbarrow and pretend nothing happened. He would not be an inconvenience again.
His left elbow twitched backwards and hit the wall with a thud. He moved away from it a few inches. With any luck, Techno wouldn't notice the wheelbarrow standing alone in the middle of the barn.
The spasms spread to his left shoulder, and it tensed until he could hardly handle the pain, his arm straightening against his will--
"Dream?" he heard Techno say--
and when he next knew it, he was in the cabin, stripped of his jacket and gloves, but still comfortingly warm.
"-- there." Phil's voice became clearer and less muffled. As his eyes focused, Dream could make out the worried expression on his face. He felt a towel rub at his chin, whipping away a trail of spit. "There you are. You're alright, love, relax."
Dream managed a pained grunt. His whole body ached. He felt he might drop from exhaustion before he realized he was already laying down, on the floor of the living room with the fireplace nearby. The light from the flame flickered at the side of his vision, and he felt he might vomit.
"You're okay, you're okay. That might've been the worst one yet, mate."
Dream realized, distantly, that he was grabbing the edge of Phil's sleeve. He was usually conscious during seizures-- the gap in his memory was frightening.
Techno came into focus as he knelt by Phil's side, holding something in his hands. Another towel, maybe, or a blanket. "He was hidin' from me, Phil."
"What?"
With a pang of guilt, Dream met Phil's eyes, hoping his expression conveyed his apology even if he couldn't find his voice.
"He was hidin' behind the goat pen. He said he'd get more hay and he just left the wheelbarrow and hid."
Phil had something akin to legitimate fear on his face. His brows were furrowed, his skin paled. He searched Dream's face for several long moments before pulling him into a tight embrace.
"Why wouldn't you tell us?"
When the embrace tightened, Dream realized that Techno also wrapped his arms around the two of them, his size making it a simple task.
"I-- I thought--" He scanned his half-scrambled thoughts for an excuse. A lie. Anything that might be acceptable. He found nothing. "We were already behind--"
Offended, both Techno and Phil spoke at the same time. Phil said something like "We have all the time in the world," while Techno, frustration clear in his voice, said "Dude, the sheep can wait! It's not worth it!"
Phil pulled away and looked Dream in the face, a newfound determination on his face. "You were supposed to tell us if you felt it start."
"I know," Dream said.
Phil sighed. Wiped a strand of hair out of Dream's face. "Alright. If I can't trust you to alert us, you'll be spending your nights with one of us. Or both of us. No more sleeping alone-- we can't risk it. Am I clear?"
Techno nodded in firm agreement with his partner. Dream nodded in turn, knowing better than to fight their decision.
---
The guest room of the cabins, despite holding most of Dream's belongings, was empty at night. They no longer lit candles, no longer kept the door closed so it would heat faster, and no longer bothered washing the sheets. It was never occupied, after all. Dream spent his nights in either Techno or Philza's bed-- usually both of them-- pressed against the warm skin of an immortal who would wake at the slightest thrashing and sacrifice anything to keep him safe. Including, it seemed, Dream's own privacy.
He would admit that the warmth of extra bodies was comfortable.
