Awesome #cicada I saw outside tonight. He is hiding in my #elegua altar pot by the front door. He was on the wall but I tried to pet him *don't laugh* because I don't know if I have ever seen a actual one in person not just the skin. I'd see the skins all over in Louisiana as a kid.Which I distinctly remember because of course all the kids pick them up and torment the other kids with them.I felt bad that I spooked him so I read they eat maple sap.So I gave him some maple syrup and some water it's so hot and dry out I figured he's at least thirsty.
