Rise of the TMNT Theory
Does anyone else think itâs inevitable that the series will eventually go back to the status quo? And the intresting thing will be how that happens?
Like, something will happen to make Leo and Raph switch roles. And when that hapens it will explain Raphâs constant battle with Leo. He was the leader, he has his own way of doing things and they worked and now Leo isnât doing any of them.
It will also explain a lot of Raphâs anger towards himself. If only heâd reacted better in whatever situation it turns out to be. If only he hadnât done thatâŚ
And Leo upon recieving the leadership role immediatly makes a vow to NOT do everything that Raphael did. I mean, itâs clearly wrong isnât it? He also mediates and works very hard on calming down his personality. And no more 1-liners or practical jokes. Heâs the leader now. However, he canât change the fact that for the first 14 years of his life he was a jokester and a prankester and occasionally heâll find himself slipping back into that role, much to his annoyance.
Mikeyâs the one thatâs least changed. If anything the whole experience taught him to enjoy life and live for the now. However he has gained a certain level of maturity and doesnât tag himself or the lair up anymore. He does still draw though. He still likes cooking and has improved on his recipes. The main thing Mikey has changed in is his relatonship with his brothers. He makes more of an effort to undertsnad them and tries to get them to realise that heâs not just âthe youngestâ.
For example; Leo seems determined to forget what he was like in the past? No way man, holding onto your roots is good. Raph is being moodier than normal because heâs thinking âif i was leaderâŚâ wind him up, get him to a quiet spot and alow him to rant about it. Donnie gets stuck in his head with his inventions and seems a little quieter than usual? âOh Don-a-tel-lo! You havnât eaten in about twenty years, i made your favourite!â Because one thing Mikey knows for sure, nothing like that is ever happening to his family again.
And Donnie. Itâs my thought that whatever happened to the turtles centered around Donatello. Probably kidnapped. As a result of that Donnie no longer boasts of his abilities, seeing as heâs fairly certain that was the reason he was chosen. He still feels guilty occasionally and will lock himself in the lab under guise of inventing. When he does this Mikey just seems to know and they have a conversation. However he does still have that proud geek at the centre of him, and he knows that heâs a pretty damn talented ninja, not to mention all round academic, and if anyone dares challenge either of those points theyâll be roasted. He can also still be sarcastic occasionally and still is a bit of an adrenaline junkie, though not as bad as it was before.
