I had this idea during a conversation back in August with my IRL friend @theviridianbunny when we were discussing The Sandman, and I referred to the cage as a snow globe (I’ve since learned that I’m not the only one who uses this term but at the time we couldn’t stop laughing!)

So a trip to Hobbycraft and an order from Snapfish later, this was my result.

He's now sitting pride of place on my fireplace and I am so freaking happy.
