Launched in 2002 as a customer sports racer and also to compete in its own one make series the Radical SR3 Challenge, The car is described as the worldâs most successful sports-racer, with over 900 satisfied customers. The SR3 RS is powered by the Powertec four-cylinder range of engines, from 1340cc to 1500cc and beyond. it incorporates a six-speed sequential transmission, and drives via the Power Drive gear drive system, developed in partnership with Quaife. With an integral torque-biasing differential offering strong traction out of corners. Swapping gear ratios to suit specific tracks is a straightforward job. with braking via four pot calipers with vented discs on each corner, Number 76 - 176 Competed in the SR3 challenge in the graduate class, with car number 76, that racing number was assigned to Radical guest drivers Alice Powell and Abbie Pulling, so despite the car carrying the number 76 here, it was renumbered as 176 for the meetint RYAN HARPER-ELLAM Ryan has won races in a number of race cars in UK and Europe. Most recently European LeMans Series LMP3. He is also a free lance car driver coaching - Data Analysis - Precision Driving and car control - Set up Analysis and Advice - Race weekend driver support. After karting Harper-Ellam moved into Radical Racing in the SR1 Cup, which gave him a first taste of prototype racing. His successes in that arena â eight wins in 12 races and 12 pole positions â prompted him to pursue a drive in the ACO sphere. Since making his LMP3 debut back in 2020 with RLR Msport in a one-off ELMS appearance (below), he took on a full season of Le Mans Cup in 2022 with Graff Racing. This led to his current relationship with Wells, which played a part in securing him a seat in the ELMS for the full 2023 campaign aboard a Ligier JS P320.
