patience  is  a  quality  she’s  still  learning  to  produce.            instead  thumb  circles  the  air.  counting  down  the  seconds  as  she  tries  to  SILENCE  HER  BRAIN.           like  a  machine  without  an  off  switch.      “    how  long  are  we  supposed  to  wait ?    ”      is  there  a  time  limit ?            do  these  sort  of  things  have  an  internal  clock  ,    allowing  her  a  chance  to  understand  that  patience  is  a  virtue ?  she  groans.  louder  than  necessary.  and  sounding  closer  to  a  snarl  than  she  intended.      “    i  just  don’t  want  to  SIT  HERE  if  there’s  something  i  can  do  to  help.    ”

bitter  laugh  clouds  over  the  pain  in  her  eyes.      it  was  almost  too  easy  ,  reverting  back  to  the  wickedness  she  had  sought  to  bury.     THE  HURT  RUNS  DEEP.    she’s  never  learned  to  process  emotions.     not  in  a  way  that’s  helpful.     spite  is  the  only  answer  she’s  ever  needed.  when  crossed  ,  thought  slink  back  to  revenge.      “    but  you  know  what  they  say  about  me.    ”      shrug  of  tense  shoulders.    gaze  darkens.  not  enough  to  flash  green  ,  magic  not  yet  hitting  the  surface.  but  she  feels  it.  an  unlit  match  waiting  for  it’s  moment  to  strike.      “    —  that  girl  is  a  problem.    ”
