Filming of the film "Bus Stop" took place in the spring of 1956. The premiere of the film took place in August of the same year.
This scene takes place inside the roadside cafe Grace's Diner. While full-scale views of the building itself were filmed on location in Ketchum, Idaho, all interior interior scenes in a bar and cafe were recreated in detail and filmed on studio sets in Los Angeles.
