that man is just Going Through It in, like, a hallucination induced by whatever it was that he did to himself, to get over his relationship problems.

It was on December 7th and it was a blast! First of all, I think all three bands are well suited to each other. They all are high-energy, with very charismatic singers, I danced and clapped and sang so much that by the end of the evening I had no voice and sore hands and feet!

Majestica got a very warm welcome: Tommy is quite beloved in Italy since his Sabaton days, and their time on stage was not long but quite electrifying, they did a fantastic job as openers in setting the right mood. There was an issue with the bass at the beginning, but the stage crew intervened immediately and it was solved quickly. I have to say, the stage crew was super efficient all night!

I only wish they had time for a couple more songs, though some of the guys stopped by after all the bands had finished and were very gracious with their time for questions and selfies. I was happy I could tell them how much fun I had and that I hope to see them again soon.

Dominum are maybe the less know ones out of these three bands (they have been around for just a couple of years), but let me tell you they perform like a more seasoned group. Dr. Dead/Felix Heldt has a strong stage presence, a captivating wicked simile, and a contagious energy. They gave a great performance, once again tons of energy! I was sweating buckets, and questioning my life choices a bit. I dread to think how hot it was under the latex masks the other band members wear.

A very strong supporting act, I loved the ambiance during the songs, I'd love to see what they could do with a bigger budget for props and the likes. I will make sure to catch them again if they come back to Italy.

And finally, Battle Beast! The main event!

Well. I did watch several of their streams in the last couple of months, so I knew what to expect, and yet I was blown away. Noora is so, so good live (I honestly think the more polished version of the songs in their studio albums makes her sound worse and less unique), she has TONS of presence and charisma.

She sounds awesome, looks dazzling in her motherbeast costume, keeps moving and dancing all. the. time, she knows how to play the audience, when to get you pumped and ready to jump and scream, and when it's the time for some kind, soft words of encouragement. Everyone else was great, too, Eero as usual handled the other big share of talking and getting the audience engaged, and the other guys were impeccable and, most importantly, you could tell they were having lots of fun on stage.

And this is true for all three bands: you could tell they were happy to be there, to perform, to do their thing, and that energy is contagious at live events of any kind. It was live music at its best, with the performers feeding from on crowd energy and giving it back tenfold. I got out high on adrenaline and endorphines, and I have been humming songs from the concert almost constantly these past few days. I am sure the memories of the evening will tide me over the worst of winter, longing for the next concert.
