Crochet pattern
Sorry the video is a week late, it took me FOREVER to film and edit it. Part 1 had nearly 3 hours of raw footage alone and the video itself still ended up being nearly 2 hours long. Anyway, part 1 of how to crochet Luffy is up and part 2 will come out next Wednesday. this video is how to make the doll base so it's perfect for if you just want the doll body as well.
I made some teeny tiny pixel doll bases in shaded, unshaded, small and large variations. f2u, credit appreciated but not necessary (although i would be pretty stoked if you show me what you make, but no pressure)

forget the blush stickies on felix's cheeks (its how i interpreted felix's cute rosy cheeks), you can simply wash'em off with photoshop
also, i don't advocate total nudity, so I covered his torso with undershirt and briefs

G1 Heath Burns doll base (stained)
Yeah you can tell they used a base by the way they colored. Now that I’m looking at it, it’s a bit too detailed to be a base. Doll bases tend to be “naked” so any type of clothing or hair can be added by the base user. In this case the original line art came with shoes, pants, etc. It’s possible that they took another artist’s run cycle and just recolored it with fill bucket. If that’s the case, then what a POS.
