Doltown is not a good place for anyone but the rich, privileged  and powerful; and Monroe got to find that out intimately- shipped back to the place of their conception and kicked down into the bowels of the town, the instant their step-parent died. Forced into an ever increasing debt. A parting gift by their remaining parent for a torturous slow demise.

They're annoyingly charismatic and charismatically annoying. A vain piece of work who has trouble connecting with people, despite being practically surrounded by them at all times. A known menace, mooch, flirt and a prolific liar who lies.

Extremely prideful with a very utilitarian view of people. They’re the type of person who views everyone but a few exceptions as unimportant background characters with no internal lives. And determines someone's worth by their relevance in the different social ecosystems they frequent.

Monroe is Dee’s overgrown pet fuckboy, situationship, quasi-family and alleged best friend all rolled into one- who also unwittingly mated to her the second the fox transformation got forced onto them. They spend most of their time away from doltown, practically vanishing into thin air for weeks or even months at a time. Purposefully keeping Dee in the dark in regards to their work as a live-in sugar baby, managing the pathological antics of whichever high net-worth individual is willing to pay the exorbitant rates required to fund their continued survival.

🪐Dee:

Not good<3 Another emotion that will simmer and sit inside of her chest like a smouldering lump of coal, slowly corroding her insides. She doesn't like being jealous. she doesn't WANT to be jealous. So she suppresses it- like every other emotion she doesn't like and pretends isn't there. Needless to say, she doesn't handle jealousy well :D

She won't EVER show it either, and is much more prone to disengaging and pulling away when she gets jealous. She's a major self saboteur and will sprint in the other direction as quickly as she can, once she got a good enough excuse to leave you. You will be better off with that other person anyways!

💾Monroe:

I think Monroe is generally very nonplussed about jealousy. Asteriks- however!! They're in no way normal,,

Monroe usually doesn't have to worry about much in ways of jealousy. (Not like anyone can compare, really.) Especially not with Dee or Cherry; Who are both people that keep others at a distance and aren't prone to attach to anyone, if they can help it. ..That being said. They really only feel this secure because there's never been any serious competition to begin with. Aaaand it probably 🤏 helps that they keep tabs on the people they're very close to (among others).

(TLDR: Monroe is obsessed and in love with Dee and taking her relationship with George very well :) )

Nowadays Monroe is much more intimately familiar with jealousy. They seethe and practically choke on it. Who can begrudge them the occasional violent intrusive thought or gore-y daydream? After their several sabotage attempts failed they had to begrudgingly call it quits, and 🙄 "play nice", urgh. Not that that keeps them from antagonizing the shit out of George. If Georges death didn't bring so many irksome little complications with it, they probably would've been tempted to find a way to kill her. Alas...

🍋Limone:

Limones an odd situation, they aren’t the type to be particularly jealous, in my mind. At least not generally, and it would be so hypocritical of them if they were; They bounce around a lot (and did so occasionally while married). They kiss, suck, and fuck indiscriminately of their relationship status. They get interested in one person, hyperfixate on them for weeks or months on end, and its like the sun decided to shine its warmest ray on them. Only to float to the next person and repeat the process all over again.

But then there's instances where I feel like they would get jealous, maybe even possessive (not that they could parse that emotion). So are they possessive after all? Do they want-/ like to feel like they’re someone’s priority, after all, despite being flaky as all hell?

They're a major hypocrite if so.

(So - may only apply under certain conditions for certain people)

🍰Berrie:

Berries jealousy stems more from the fact that she is extremely insecure forever and always- in addition to their terrible self esteem. She's terrified of being left behind for someone better. They don't think they're allowed to be jealous either, because you're settling for her anyways. There's barely any advantages to dating them unless you're a- um.. lets say.. certain type of person. She tries to suppress her insecurity and jealousy as best as she can, because nothing is worse than someone who's desperate. But that only holds for so long.. Shed probably get way needier and more openly insecure. Eventually breaking by showing up in front of you- drunk out of her mind, sobbing, throwing up, clinging to your leg, while looking absolutely wretched.

🍒Cherry:

She's jealous, even when she has no business being jealous, and she will make sure that you feel at fault for it. Be prepared to grovel, or appease her, or fuck off already. (She's also a hypocrite though. Because she'd eventually feel suffocated and could get annoyed if she had to deal with someone like herself.) So. Not that good haha

Cherry is a deeply jealous Person once she really really attaches to someone. She's being very good about Dee, but that's mostly because her and Monroe are.. very similar in a lot of ways. They both have an inherent understanding of each other that makes it easy for the both of them to feel secure about the other and above it all. She still had times where she got extremely, scathingly jealous and Monroe had to make things up to her. (The fight they had about it was probably nasty).

Mellow floats above it all in some ways. Why be jealous when a Mothers love will trump anyone and anything? You don't seriously expect her to take you seriously?
