People: Angel are you going to see suicide squad when it comes out?! Me: will batman be in it? I haven't seen him in the trailers. People: i don't know, maybe. It is about batman's universe. Me: this uncertainty deeply upsets me, but continue trying to sell me on this. I really want to like this movie. People: Harley will be in it! I know you like her! Me: is she still smart and funny. Person: I think she might just be eye candy. I don't really know how she's gonna be portrayed. Me: .... Are there any black, brown or Asian people in the movie? Person: will smith is in it... Me: .... Aaaaand? Person: that's all I know of. Me: nope. Not wasting my money on tokenism or donating a cent to a possibly sexiest film or even acknowledging a batman universe that batman might not even show up in. Harley looks cool, but fuck this shit. People: but its just a movie! God! Me: it's just a movie I'm not wasting money on! If they can't pay poc actors and portray women in a non sexist manner then they don't deserve poc/female money! People: why do you always gotta be extra?!?!?! Me: I was born extra!!! I came with seasond curly fries and a mother fucking shake! I'm so extra I popped out the womb with apple slices, a gogurt and like 12 happy meal toys from the mid 90's!!! You can't handle extra? Then don't ask me to throw money at movies that depict a world without me in it! Person: fuck. Me: fucking right: "fuck."
