Admin Day at Dogs Trust Shoreham
Our Dogs Trust Shoreham annual Christmas Fair is approaching fast and as you can imagine, running events like this require a lot of planning. Taking at least a couple of hours per day to catch up on administrative tasks is utterly important to ensure we answer all of our kind supporter’s questions about the vital work of our charity.
But it doesn’t stop there! We also schedule & manage visits to community groups for FREE talks about Dogs Trust as well as ‘Behind-the-Scenes’ tours of the Shoreham Rehoming Centre – alongside organizing various events through the year, the two biggest being our annual Fun Day and upcoming Christmas Fair!
Today we have been fortunate enough to spend a whole afternoon on preparing various letters, sending out FREE Canine Care Cards (a fantastic service that gives you peace of mind, knowing that Dogs Trust will care for your dogs if you pass away before they do), answering questions about how to make donations in memory of a loved one as well as enquires about leaving legacies to Dogs Trust.
In addition, we are spreading the word about our Christmas Fair wide & far! This exciting annual event will take place on Sunday, 26th November right here at our Shoreham Rehoming Centre and we are very excited to welcome visitors to our little “market”, which will be set up from 11am to 2pm in the Reception area.
Leading up to this fabulously festive event, we are gratefully accepting item donations for our Raffle & Tombola such as vouchers, wine & spirits, chocolates or any unwanted gifts that are still in new condition.
