HEEHE eremmm okeu.. so vampires are from mars And im aware this sounds sooo stupid but im such a huge fan of old schlocky horror b-movies that i couldnt help myself. all the worlds governments decide to fund a nuclear superweapon to wipe out the vampire population of mars (even though vampires.. really arent that much of a problem, even if they do kill thousands of people a year. there are more pressing issues (rising hypercapitalism and consumerism)) this kind of backfires because of course it does. what do you Mean youre gonna nuke another planet.. anywayss, the nuke backfires in 2012 which is the end of the before-times. most of humanity goes underground and the super-rich folks cryogenically freeze themselves so they dont have to deal with living in bunkers. But uh oh, the surface is still deadly radioactive & unlivable, even after the 10 years the world govts predicted the surface 2 be unsafe. so like 50-60 years later humanity reemerges -- called emergence day! it's celebrated every year like a holiday. its a bank holiday too enjoy the day off. n e ways, the newly emerged humans discover that the outside world has changed dramatically & life has evolved rapidly to adapt. some of these creatures were domesticated, but some prove to be Pests. thus the hunting association was created! it's a global (& eventually interplanetary)(theres, things on the Moon) sort of pseudosociety-corporation-government thing..? the hunting association hires folks in need of cash/housing 2 do radioactive pest control ^^. thats why darcy & jack are hunting together-- jack's in need of money and housing now that his talent manager isn't booking him anymore, and darcy needs field research for his various studies ! and thank yo y agaun for letting me talk about them... made my Day my friend.
