my main problem so far with ill make a spectacle of you is theres too much exposition given. i think there would be more of a thrill to the book if i wasnt already given so much context for the beast in the woods by the time zora is discovering these things. im enjoying the book for what it is, i like zora as an mc a lot and her perspective on things, i love a historian with a niche theyre passionate about. but i wish i was finding these things with zora, through her research on this thing shes diving headfirst into. and the moments where im supposed to feel tense would feel a lot more tense if i hadnt been given context 3 chapters prior. dunno. still a pretty good read so far
