I love this so much! I also love the amount of Logan content I've been getting lately. He's so cute and he deserves so much love.

So firstly, I think those classic stereotypical hybrids doing their pet play type videos would be VERY popular? Like cat hybrids doing cat play, dog hybrids doing puppy play, etc.

But yeah, most hybrids don't like it and find it stereotypical and demeaning. Most are still wiling to do those shoots though, because they're super popular and they know it'll make the studio, and therefore them, a lot of money (except for max, who will never ever do those shoots).

Logan is the outlier in this because not only will he happily do those shoots, but he actually loves them?? He just... he just wants to be called good boy and be given head pats!

He's known as the puppy boy and he is very proud of that title. He'll happily pant and whine for the camera, wagging his tail and begging for cock like a good little puppy. Of course you always instruct whoever he's shooting with to call him a good boy and give him plenty of head pats.

Also, whoever shoots with him must be there for aftercare. For most actors, when they bottom they don't actually need their top to stay for aftercare because they're happy to just cuddle in your office and get attention from you.

But not Logan, whoever fucked the puppy must stay for cuddles! Not that anyone could possibly turn down cuddles with a sleepy, fucked out Logan.

Also, maybe you manage to convince Oscar to do a pet play shoot with Logan? Except Oscar doesn't have to act like a stereotypical horny cat hybrid. Instead, he gets to be the embodiment of a cool, kinda mean black cat and dom Logan who is just a dumb horny puppy begging for any attention from Oscar.

I was given time to write in one of my classes a few weeks ago and the only thing that came to mind was @a-valorous-choice's Sanders Sides Dog!au so... Yeah! This happened. If you haven't checked out their au yet it can be found at @sandersdogs. It's great so far and I would suggest checking out at least Patton and Logan's backstories first before reading this as it will help you to understand what is going on. Set in the time frame where Logan first comes to stay with Thomas in his house.

"It's fascinating, isn't it?"

Logan turned to look at the newcomer with a bit of curiosity. "What do you mean?"

"The way the world just moves and goes on while you are standing still." The Golden retriever (Patton, Logan recalls.) beside him says. "I sometimes find myself in your exact situation. You know? Staring outside and just... thinking. Well, I suppose it isn't so much thinking as it is wondering. Wondering about the passers-by. What kind of foods they like, the lives they lead, where they are headed, that kind of thing. I sometimes don't even realize I'm doing it until I catch myself in the act!" Patton paused for a moment in thought. "Do you ever catch yourself wondering, Logan?"

Logan looked back outside, his eyes searching for something. Truth be told, Logan knew exactly how that felt. Way more than he cared to let on. He was a strong, independent dog. He didn't need anyone to show him any sort of affection. He could survive without it... right?

He looked over at Patton, ever the friendly soul, sitting patiently beside him, just as he had been doing with Logan since Patton's human, Thomas, had welcomed Logan into his home, and accepted Logan for who he was with open arms. Looking at Patton now he couldn't see any of the tensed eyes, thin lips, and harsh, commanding words that his previous owners had mostly talked to him with. Logan sighed and looked out the window once again. He supposed he could do with a friend or two in his life. At least until his previous owners came back and he returned to his normal routine. For now he was stuck looking out a window and finding himself wondering over, and over, and over, and-

"Yeah." Logan replies after a long moment. "I do. I really, really do."

And so, the duo sat there in silence both looking out at different things in the world.

The Golden looking out at the passing cars, humans, and animals, wondering about them all.

tiger!alex is everything to me. also we're pretending the '23 season started somewhere gay friendly bc i said so.

you're just sitting on the little sofa in alex's driver's room. you weren't really all that into the big crowds that gathered at the first race of the season. or any race of the season. or ever, really. they're just a little much for you, and you'd rather save your energy for dealing for your overgrown cub of a boyfriend. tiger!alex is a handful.

it doesn't really surprise you that the new driver, logan, is a dog hybrid. a lot of hybrids—and even full humans—would be freaked out by having a big cat hybrid like alex as a teammate. dog hybrids are (usually) just happy to be there. there as in anywhere with any other living creature. especially if said creature will play with them. you know very well that alex is always ready to ditch his responsibilities for a good play session.

what does surprise you is when your boyfriend walks into his driver's room, dragging the new driver with him by the scruff of his neck. logan is a gorgeous golden retriever hybrid. his blond hair perfectly blends with the fur on his ears. and he's clearly not even tried to resist alex's will because does nothing more than stumble a little when your boyfriend deposits the blond on your lap.

"uh ... nice to meet you," you say awkwardly. one of your arms hooks around logan's waist to make sure he doesn't fall, because you're not too confident about his balancing capabilities at the moment, and you look at your boyfriend. "what did you do?"

"this is our new boyfriend," alex says simply.

as if that explains anything.

logan sniffs at you a little before you looking at alex—maybe for permission, maybe for confidence—and nuzzling your neck after alex nods. "hi!"

"hi ..."

first off, oscar is pretty happy to sleep anywhere and everywhere and especially if he has you or logan to sleep on. logan, however, is much more particular.

if he's sleeping on your lap or oscar's lap, he's less bothered. but he's usually pretty insistent on making himself a nice little den before he goes to bed. he likes to be comfortable! bonus if you and/or oscar are joining him, he's so excited about making it nice for you two!!

one day, oscar took you to a mclaren event. logan was invited too, but he insisted on staying home and getting a surprise ready for the two of you to come home to. you don't hear from him all day. you're a little concerned, but mclaren keep you and oscar well and truly occupied. you don't get a moment's peace to wonder about whatever logan's up to.

when you do get home, you're both exhausted. oscar's slow-blinking and leaning on you heavily. logan greets you excitedly at the door. his tail is wagging so much and he's practically yipping just at the sight of you. you have to hush him slightly because of oscar's sleepiness, and logan struggles to contain his energy, but he manages it. for oscar.

he drags the two of you into the bedroom. logan's giggling gets progressively louder the closer you get. when he reveals his cozy den, oscar makes the loudest purr you've ever heard from him and dives forward into the cushions. he reaches out for you and logan happily.

which meant it was time to call in the big guns: cuddle piles

the two of you were herd logan (as he so often did to one or both of you) to bed and then curl up with him

for a while he's so tense, like he expects to be yelled at

it just breaks your and oscar's hearts

oscar will start making biscuits on logan's tummy while you rub his ears

instantly, you can see the switch flip in his brain and he becomes a whiny lil puppy who just wants his boyfriends to cuddle away all his problems

and you and oscar are very happy to oblige

by the end of week, you've engaged several more cuddle piles and each time logan relaxes a little quicker

until eventually he comes and gets you and oscar for cuddles on his own accord?

he's built a little den for the three of you (it's a very elaborate blanket fort. you're convinced spending so much time in hotel rooms unattended as a child helped logan hone his dog hybrid denning instincts) and he's SO proud of it

you and oscar are delighted to learn that the whole thing smells like logan

he is a dog hybrid who was raised with cat!oscar and therefore will attempt a purring noise but it comes out as more of a happy grumble

however contradictory that may sound

logan's finally happy again, and you're getting twice as many boyfriend kisses as you used to

i'm a sucker for hybrid!drivers and found family trope <3 i am definitely intrigued peaches!

otter!franco is utterly unprepared for when tiger!alex approaches him. he's dealt with bigger hybrids before, of course, but a tiger? never. so he tries his default setting that almost always gets him out of trouble. he flirts.

he's right in the middle of batting his eyelashes at alex with a cheeky grin when alex lets out some sort of rumbling chuckle and grabs franco by the scruff of his neck. in alex's mind, he's just found the perfect pup to complete your little pack. but, as always, he doesn't bother telling everyone involved. like franco. for example.

speaking of, poor franco is now silently panicking as he's dragged around by tiger!alex. he's both a prey and predator species, so half of him is screaming to fight and the other is telling him to run far far away. all that really manifests as is him squirming in alex's grip and letting out indignant squeaks. he's half-scared he's about to be eaten by alex. he knows it's irrational—predator hybrids almost never eat prey hybrids—but there are still a few creeps who do. every orchard has a bad apple or two.

but then ... then alex opens the door to his driver's room. and there on the little sofa is dog!logan, who franco already feels awkward about replacing mid-season, and you. your ears almost comically large. franco still thinks you make it work. momentarily, he's been distracted from tiger!alex basically kidnapping him. he barely even blinks when logan's tail starts smacking against the sofa.

alex deposits franco on your lap, right beside logan. it's eerily reminiscent of about a year and a half ago. by now, you've learned not to question it. you just sigh and allow otter!franco to sniff you before he curls up on your lap and starts fluffing his tail. he's not in the water, and it's not even forecast to rain, but he's very diligent about keeping his coat waterproof.

"new pup?"

"new pup!"

adding franco to your little pack was easier than you thought it would be.

nothing against him, of course, but alex had a habit of sniffing out hybrid!drivers who were just as chaotic as he was. like logan, or even his friendship with deer!george. you couldn't help but be a little skeptical of otter!franco.

he is just as chaotic. you're not surprised about that. what you are surprised about is that franco happens to be a perfect mix between mischievous overgrown tiger cub!alex and oblivious happy-go-lucky dog!logan. and, even better, franco loves to play hunting with the two of them. as long as he's not the one being hunted. you'd had franco for less than a day and you'd already had a crying otter pup on your lap because your boyfriends weren't quick learners about how rough was too rough to play.

after his first race, franco is in the media pen. he's no stranger to the media, of course, but he certainly underestimated how vicious they would get when he stepped up to f1. most of the questions are mundane or easy to ignore. but then comes the one he's dreading. a reporter asks him if he's glad to be replacing logan because now there's "an actually talented driver in the second williams". franco lets out a few angry squeaks before he speaks.

"you can't talk about one of my dads like that! he's more talented than you'll ever be, so please keep your ... opinions to yourself."

every other driver in the media pen pauses and looks at franco in disbelief. there are a few other hybrid!drivers. but even they had never joined or created a pack/herd/etc as quickly as franco seemed to have. then tiger!alex strolls over and he's ruffling otter!franco's fur around his ears and acting just like any good papa would. and then it makes sense. alex has a reputation—he spots someone he likes, and they'll have joined his pack by the end of the day.

logan really just wants to play with you all the time

he's so hyper

he loves how clingy you are

will give you a piggy back so you can still spend time together but you can still be sleepy

you spend most of your day sleeping and snacking

logan will take you to and from the track and deposit you in his driver's room for naps while he gets paid to have zoomies (essentially)

he's just as clingy as you are at night

if he comes home from race you didn't go to and you're hugging one of those body pillows

(i think koala hybrids would sleep better while hugging something like a branch)
