Sooo... I went to the most reassuring doctor's appointment ever yesterday and I'm just now getting around to reflecting on it on tumblr, lol.
I mentioned a thing another doctor said I couldn't have, my doctor not only said I had it, but also gave me evidence as to why I have it based on my symptoms and my chart and offered a solution that may help me experience it less. She even comforted me when I got emotional at how much it was affecting my weight, and validated me in that it's hard for people with my condition to even lose any.
I mentioned wanting to be tested for ADHD and autism, she immediately was like "okay, give me a place your insurance takes and I'll refer you." No denial, no questioning, just immediately said alright.
I told her about a suspected allergy, immediately referred for testing.
Like... I feel really good about how that visit went despite me feeling really iffy about her previously.
Going to the doctor alone for the first time. I feel so ill lmaooooooooooo
So now you can better imagine what I always look like on a examination table when I visit doctors. 😋 Up there your feet never touch the floor. That makes me feel so small. As a child, you could never touch the floor with most chairs either. 👉👈🥹 My editing program doesn't have a shy smiley face which looks down and turns red. 🥴 And instead of plastic pants the doctor and nurses see a sometimes more/less yellowish diaper. Last time it was soaked because i was so exited. 😅 What would go through your minds when you saw me Like that? 🫣 Uagh...When I look at the picture, I realize once again how stunted my right leg looks. I can't even look at it... 😌
