I realize what a privilege it is to be able to pursue this doctorate and I do not take this role lightly. All of the reading 📖 writing papers 📝 and late nights are greater than me. I am doing this for my culture, for those who have been told that they are not smart enough and the disadvantaged and marginalized. How long can systems and institutions continue to fail those who need it most? Education with dignity should be what we all aim for. I pray that we are headed in that direction.
