This was originally supposed to be a fusion prompt from hermitcraftfusions of Doc and BadTimesWithScar, but I think it’s ended up just being Doc.

Model turnarounds under the cut!

I use Clip Studio Paint, which has its own comic book settings!

Here, I’ll show you some screenshots from Chapter 2, Page 7!

Step 1: Messy Sketches

Step 2: Neater sketches with basic shading and effects!

Step 3: Line Art! (A certain @drunkstarscream does really good ink line art that I’m always amazed by~!)

Step 4: Base colors (”Flats”)

Step 5: Take a break. This step is very important because 1) drawing too much at once is incredibly bad for your wrists and 2) for me, it’s easier to do the next part if I step away from the art for a bit!

Step 6: Shading! (Tints and Shadows! Both are important!)

Step 7: Effects time! This one usually takes the longest cus I have to play with the brushes and effects tools.
