How I feel about this character: I love him to the moon and back. I love how he is a blend of masculinity and feminity, how gentle and kind and smart and sassy he is, how he has gone through trauma and is so lonely but is still such a genuinely nice human being, how he can put aside his feelings to do what’s necessary for the crew, and how he cares for every single one of them. One of my most favourite characters of all time.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Spock. Their relationship is honestly a romance. I’ve never been able to see it as anything but.

My favourite non-romantic relationship for this character: Bones

My unpopular opinion about this character: He is not a womaniser, and anyone who thinks he is hasn’t been watching the right show (Looking at you, JJ Abrams). He respects women, and he only has 17 “love interests” some of whom he genuinely likes and pursues, some of whom are when is under the influence of something (yikes), some are exes (who like and respect him), and most of them are him femme fataling himself out of a situation. 

One thing I wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon: A proper ending. I really disliked the end they gave him in Generations, although there is some tragic irony in it. He says he would die alone, and he does die without any one of his crew or his friends. It’s excellent angst material, but I still disliked it
