When your borderline “thick” and “fat” 🐬
So I’m doing a 30 day squat challenge. Thus follows my microbloggings/facebook rants about the three days so far...
Day 1: 50 squats
I regret everything. Especially deciding to give this a shot. I'm going to spend the next 29 days waddling like a penguin and needing help to get on and off the toilet.
Day 2: 55 squats
Urghhhhh. Make this day in your calendars - this is the first day in who knows how many years I opted for the down escalator instead of the stairs. Stairs hurt.
To be honest, the most challenging part is not making noises of pain when trying to sit down in a crowded public toilet. That would just be awkward. Also stairs. Screw stairs. And gentle downhill slopes. Actually anything that involves bending my legs. Horizontal is best. ZzzzzzZZZzz
Day 3: 60 squats
The floor is littered with things I have dropped and decided that I don’t need that urgently and have therefore left where they lay. The old nursing adage of “Never stand when you can sit, never sit when you can lie” is proving false. Half the time I’m choosing to stay standing just to avoid that painful bit just before ass hits seat...
I need to go to the local dairy and I can’t decide if I should walk the five minutes (up hill there, down hill back) or drive. Alternatively, do I really need to go to the dairy or can I just stay here and not move?
