Yall I know literally no one cares, and I'm about to get super dramatic, but I have loved the Backstreet Boys pretty much since I can remember. It all started with a cassette tape (that I still have to this day) and a a lot of J-14 and Tigerbeat posters, and then Millennium became the first CD I ever owned and I have owned every one of their albums since. I even have DNA on vinyl. Anyway I've loved them forever, perhaps more quietly, since my interest in them grew and was cultivated before the age of social media and "stanning" as we know it today. But back to the point-- FINALLY today, twentysomething years after hearing "All I Have to Give" for the first time on that cassette tape that I almost destroyed from overuse, I AM SEEING THE BACKSTREET BOYS LIVE 😭😭 Like this will literally be a dream come true, a life goal accomplished!! I am so fucking excited that they are still together and still touring and still here for me after so many years. There's a lyric in "Everbody" where they say "As long as there'll be music, we'll be coming back again" and it gives me chills that over the years they've proven those words to be true over and over. As a kid I literally used to lie in bed at night and worry about what I'd do if they broke up before I ever got to see them. And 20ish years later I'm finally doing it 😭 I know I'm being dramatic, but I can't even express how this feels. Anyway that's all, I'M REALLY FUCKING EXCITRD.
