It's a time shenanigan story, so some of the early confusion is intentional. Also, I'm afraid I haven't been able to update as consistently as I'd hoped because of life events/obligations, so some of the explanations have taken longer to post than I originally planned.

The basic premise is that Resonance is a time-travel/communication mystery very loosely inspired by the movie Frequency. In this story, 16-year-old Donnie develops the Turtlecoms (the walkie talkies most iterations of the turtles have) so the team can stay in contact even if the power grid goes down. Through an 'unusual series of events that I can not reveal yet', present Donnie is able to contact Future Leo.

From there, small choices start creating ripple effects that gradually change the future. As the story progresses, Donnie and Future Leo begin piecing together what's happening, why it's happening, and what those changes might cost.

I do so love that most versions of the TMNT have a fixed event that sends them back in time (I love the dinosaurs lol!) But yeah, the aurora is not a full portal. The only thing that can get through is a radio signal to the future. However... the temptation is so great to do time portals for this. I really have toyed with the idea of time popping just so Raph could finally get a pet of his own that loves him.

I haven't ruled it out yet, he might need a Pepperoni.

Actually, I’m planning a preorder for some new buttons during the first week of May! I’m doing a set of the 90s movie turtles, and a set of all the girls through various iterations. Along with that, I was planning on opening all previous designs for the preorder, just in case anyone missed out the first time. So you can for sure get a full Bayverse set!

Hello!! Oh yes, I'll be opening the shop again this coming week. I got a bit behind on sending out orders, because of two huge bubble mailer malfunctions, and spent this last week getting the last few orders safely in the mail. I just wanted to be sure all the pre-orders are clear and safely home before I put the extras up in the shop.

I’m also planning another pre-order and adding some new designs that were requested (2007 TMNT, ‘87, and Bayverse) and I can reopen orders for ones that might be sold out.

Ya'll caught me in one of my manic research frenzies, so I hope I don't ramble too hard. (I was up at 3am last night writing entire paragraphs to my friend about physical determinism and Lovecraft. She often accuses me of having doom senses.) So to answer @darellarcady first! I have been accused of predicting the outcome of a show/game! LOL, but no, I'm not predicting the future XD I hyperfocus on tiny details and I pull thoughts from other sources to 'back up' my theory. I'm just a sci-fi nerd that overthinks and dwells on the little details, because I want it to be as believable as possible.

To @nivael : LOL yes, I have done so much research into the Carrington event, because Frequency is one of my favorite movies. (I have a set of go-to movies and books that I love to reference as examples for my thoughts on time travel.)
