The drone staggered back, slice marks visible and sparking across it’s body from Gai’s onslaught. Good. The Silver Ranger pulled back his Gokai Spear, producing his Ranger Key and plugging into the slot on his weapon’s neck. A twist of the key sent power surging through the trident.

“FIIIIIINAL WAAAAAAVE!!!!” screamed a voice from within the Gokai Spear. Loud and excitable, announcing to the world the oncoming attack. The drone, for it’s part, could only shudder as it tried to move from it’s spot. There wasn’t enough time for that.

“Gokai-!” Gai began, bending doing to take a LEAP into the sky, “-SHOOTING STAR!!!” Mid-air, Gai’s body pulled back, tensing before hurling the Gokai Spear.  The energy around the trident’s tips spun around the weapon, turning it into a spinning drill of destruction. The drone had only a moment to witness the power of Gai’s finishing move as it flew closer, before exploding in a fabulous array of light and electricity.

“C’mon C’mon C’MON!” Gai cheered, spinning his Gokai Spear around in front of him. A small group of drones had seemed to take an interest in him, though he couldn’t imagine why.

Maybe being bright silver and screaming had something to do with it, Gai didn’t know

But this? Surrounded by a group of relatively easy-to-dispatch footsoldiers? This was what Gai did before breakfast, he could handle this no problem. The downards arc of his spin turned into and upwards slash, sending the drone directly in front of him back with the hit. The trident slowed on it’s path up, Gai letting gravity do some of the work before turning to the next drone and slamming the weapon down.
