It's incredible how the World Wide Web has changed the way we live our lives and how is made communication, ideas, (and well pretty much anything) blossom in and be shared in a whole new light. We no longer have much use to call a phone or have our internet bills come as a phone bill. This allowed us to freely share our intelligence with the entire world. I find it to be wonderful that our options of browsers are open to use as well. We don't have to use the major company of Internet Explorer, we can use Firefox and support the smaller browser system. We have so many options when using the word wide web and because of it, we can do almost anything from gambling, to watching videos to searching up new information instead of pulling out your encyclopedia. It was a new way to access information from home. Absolutely brilliant and a whole new way to search the world.

I would definitely have to say that I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, if the government finds out more information about the shooters in the San Bernardino shooting, we would be one step closer to figuring out motives, future attacks, any other information that he might have sent to someone in his phone. On the other hand, privacy protection is one of the most important feature Apple is known for. We have the right to our privacy and Apple doesn’t want to betray its clients in that way. It’s hard to pick which side I stand for but I think I would say, I think that Apple is doing the right thing by standing by their policy.

This article defiantly gives me more of an insight with digital technologies, in this case, our smart phones. Our phones hold everything, our photos, notes, alarms, calendar, and we don’t realize how much we depend on our phones. The author of this article said “if we leave the house without our phone, most of us feel a void, a disconnect from reality”. This was something I had to really think about, because before I had a smart phone, I had one of those classic flip phones and I would forget it at home a lot of the time. Thinking about it now, I bring my phone with me everywhere. It’s just as important as wearing my watch or putting on shoes. It’s become natural for us to be attached to our phones in some way. I’m personality not much of a texter or instagramer, but my phone holds all of my appointments, photos/videos, and it’s my way to look something up if I don’t understand it or if I want to learn something more about something. It fascinates me how technology in smart phones are becoming more important by the day. This generative system in the smart phone world is growing rapidly and advancing in multiple ways with more reasons to connect with our phones and ourselves.

Wow, this technology of the future is mind blowing. I’m not too sure if the 21st century will ever become this advanced but many of these concepts definitely sound possible. It’s simply brilliant and these technologies would Be a huge step up from where society is at now.

Technology impacts children of its time in so many ways. We’re creating a more advanced society and in 2050, who knows what technologies kids will be mastering. It’s only going to become more and more advanced, and our children and children’s children will work with the newest technologies of the future. It can be a good thing and a bad thing, but for now, we have to wait and see.

This was one of my favorite days of 2015. We got to visit all of the best destinations in the city like the Moma, Wallstreet, and the beautiful Empire State Building. I took this picture before we ended the night. Ever have a memory you wish you could relive all over again? I’ll definitely remember this day forever.
