1. The first part has a spoken part where the singers narrate how they were looking for more power trying to protect someone until it wasn't anymore for love, where greed starts taking place instead and begins wondering when it all began, but finishing were what was once the eternity that they had would return again to the other person. Okay what IF it's talking about how he looked for power to protect his brother and try to prevent another tragedy to happen but then he became too greedy or forgot about whyhe initially was looking for it?

2. On the actual song it's said that it was a lost love because of the arrogance of that power but, still, wants to fix it and would fix it since now knows what to do, maybe could apply to the last cutscenes with the twins in the last game?

Btw, this is taking the lyrics literally it's up to interpretation as always since music doesn't have one meaning.

It's okay! I don't have a lot of like knowledge? About Vergil since I have only watched a few videos and I haven't played a lot with him (IM STUCK AT DMC3) but I think I have mixed feelings with him. Since we don't really see a lot of him besides DMC 3 and 5, I wanna include Nelo Angelo in this one too!

1. Vergil, dmc 3

I know I've said his brother is a little more rebellious than Vergil, but what I seem to understand is that he's young during this game, and from some scenes we see he was too, in a way, playful too, I think it shows this on the colors they chose rather than the design of clothes or hair, which are neat and really formal-like. They also have a really high contrast with Dante, making him look colder or more serious too. Even his expressions have a colder look, even in the eyes.

I think it also shows in this specific photo, Vergil looks determined to achieve his goals no matter the cost (how I interpret it at least 😭)

2. Vergil, dmc 5

I'm gonna be SO HONEST, while I love some parts of the designing in dmc 5, I also hate some things, I'd like to think that we can explain the colors of Vergil in this game as a sign of how he had to mature while he was Nelo Angelo and having to recover his strength, or maybe after being separated in V and Urizen then being one again as a sign of the power he gained through the events of the game, since he has yet to learn that he was carrying a really heavy weight since what happened in his childhood and maybe there was another way? Idk, but it could be something like that because of the dull colors

I just love how the design is so imponent and shows how powerful he is as a boss, but still shows that is Vergil because it's the only boss that can fight like Dante un certain ways and because of the face reveal, I love how he always appears and I love how he is taunting you while you play in the first fight, the design is also really colorful and detailed and I love it
