First off, I do not believe in any mainstream / contemporary religion of today (as far as I know). I feel that religion is made up to fill in the gaps, it's a learning curve. We use different belief systems to explain the unexplainable.

The ultimate question that I feel cannot be answered is the origin of matter. If the big bang theory is correct, and the universe is a constantly expanding explosion that began all in one central location, how did it originate in the central location. It had to have been created to have existed.

One off spin of the big bang theory is that the beginning of time was about 13.7 Billion years ago. Well, what was there before then? Nothing? If there was nothing, how did something appear out of nothing? This is where I believe there must be some kind of divine entity that created something out of nothing. Something had to of happened that allowed the universe to be created, and for something to happen with nothing is, frankly, impossible.
