So I was looking at a Data Diver prop for sale on Etsy. But then I was immediately distracted by the reviews saying things like "it feels good to hold" and the length of it.
After that all I could think of was what Dispatch (and I) think of Arnold and his physical traits. Tehehe!
From a draft that didn't get posted. I was overthinking it as usual. Anyway here's what I thought a few days ago.
Other than thinking they're attractive I like Distress Signal since I relate to Arnold so much. I've probably mentioned this in posts and whatnot elsewhere.
Ahah, I love that Arnold is a technician/whatever Dispatch tells him to do. It parallels...wait that's a word, right? Ahahaha I talk so much yet still am not as articulate as I'd like to be.
Anyway, it parallels my own experiences. Like Mike Schmidt being a night guard and doing what he can to support himself and Abby resonated with me. But with SOTM and fanfic about it even more so.
I love lines in which Arnold is describing working or trying to work on something. Also how the security office in the game and warehouse area reminds me of my current workplace.
It's just so nice to me. Ahahaha now that I typed all this I forgot I said that before in my long post about Cass' commission of them looking at blueprints.
I guess I can't say enough how meaningful it is to me. Although most people don't understand or make the same connections. Which is okay but I guess I'd like more understanding.
Some panicking & thoughts about that
Ahhh! I'm panicking a lot. The last couple months have been unpleasant to say the least. But I won't bore everyone by explaining. The main point is, is that my love of Distress Signal is what's keeping me... something.
I feel like looking at, talking or interacting with/about Distress Signal is what is helping me maybe not be happy but it does make me happy. So that's nice instead of being constantly stressed.
I love how much Arnold reminds me of my old and current jobs. And I like thinking of myself in his place or as him when I read or look at content about him and Dispatch. It's enjoyable to think about. And comforting to me.
And Dispatch. What can I say? I enjoy his voice very, very much. I listen to his lines almost every day. I really like thinking of my version as well as others' versions of him. He's so pretty.~

Sometimes... well okay, whenever I look at Arnold & Dispatch I'm like "they're so pretty...".
Also it still doesn't help that one of my coworkers looks like my version of Dispatch. Yeesh. I sort of panic when he walks by. Ahah!
Although, I'm somehow hoping we can eventually be friends and then recreate the commission from Bye-Cass of Arnold and Dispatch looking at blueprints!
