A commission of my RWBY Destiny of Remnant OC Heliosia Ainea (The beautiful girl with pyrokinesis powers) and Frozen's gorgeous Queen Elsa by the talented artist Fuyukichi from Deviantart! Enjoy! I especially love how she drew the elemental dynamics between Heliosia and Elsa, as they were both able to wield the power of the elements; i.e. Heliosia with the power of fire and Elsa with the power of ice. Truth be told, a few bits and pieces of Heliosia’s character arcs are definitely inspired from Queen Elsa’s journey through the Frozen movies! Well. The weather wasn't ideal for the first day, but even though those ponchos didn't quite keep us dry (or warm), the bonus was that we *walked* onto so many rides. Like, we had a FP for Space Mountain, but we got there a bit before the window and managed to ride it standby and FP with juuuust enough time to get to our BOG reservation--and we got the West Wing (I should've taken a picture). At Hollywood Studios we got onto Tower of Terror AND Rockin Roller Coaster in, say...less than an hour to do both? And after dinner and catching the last Muppet showing, I saw that Slinky Dog Dash was only a 10 minute wait. I hadn't been much interested in it, just seemed like a kiddie coaster, but holy cats. It is *good.* Reasonably intense, and just looks "beautiful* at night. And the ride theming is so phenomenally well-put-together.
We got right back in line and did the ride again before going to see fantasmic (which was cancelled after about 19 minutes but considering how ready to go back to the hotel
All in all a great day
Sterling got to see the ship from Flight of the Navigator and just about cried.
Speaking of crying we got to watch Happily Ever After from the balcony of the California Grill and I am not kidding when I say I was crying throughout most of it. And not like just "tears running down my face unheeded" but trying to suppress actual sobs.
Also did you know you can get a haircut in the Magic Kingdom? For a pretty good price too! I didn't get a chance to trim my own bangs before we left and they were driving me nuts (nearly down to my nose if you pulled on them). So I went in and it turns out bangs are only $7.00. The guy was really friendly and mellow and kept casually slapping stickers onto me while he chatted. And he poured glitter into my hair when he was done.
