This summer has been filled with “Let Go, Mommy” hair drama. I have only been allowed to touch their hair one wash day per month. I am so proud of this girl for being able to detangle and wash her hair herself. ☺️ Yesterday, we undid her “Olori” #africanthreading hairstyle. I had to give her a refresher course on Detangling. To detangle her hair, she spray each twisted section with water 💦 + aloe vera juice and then applied @vo5 extra body conditioner to it. Detangling was a breeze. Then she put her hair in these cute twists. We will be washing it today . When you prepoo what do you use? ❔❓❔❓ Today is my wash day (recently I wash my hair twice a week; I am experimenting on a scenario😝) I started by spraying my scalp with @bodycakebytish Be Natural Scalp Refresher. I love how it tingles. Great for dandruff and healthy scalp. Then I sectioned hair into 4 parts. I applied my diy hair oil in all sections and just conditioner to two sections. I want to see how my hair does and if there is a difference in prepping with hair oil versus conditioner. I covered my hair with plastic cap and I am going to rinse off on the late afternoon. I will come back to show my results.
