A few days after the the rift closes in Superman (2025), Danny decides to say hello to an old friend...
AO3 Link (Rated G, 1038 words, DP x Superman 2025)
Danny floated behind the far side of the Moon, his eyes landing on his target.
Superman.
He held back a laugh, turned invisible, then shot right towards him. He landed on the rocky surface, not even disturbing a single speck of Moon dust. He stood still, waiting for the sound of his arrival to drift through the Moon’s surface, alerting Superman of his presence.
But it never did.
He smirked. Letting the bottom of his boots press firmly into the surface, he settled deeper onto the ground.
And then he faded back into visibility.
Resting his arms across his chest, he glanced ahead of him, where Superman sat with his back facing Danny. Beyond Superman, the Earth stretched like a giant marble, glistening with the same vibrancy of the greens of the Realms, but with a color he doesn’t see too often these days…
Blue.
It was only here that Danny could see blues like that.
He drank it in, his eyes trailing the flickering of the sun as it sparkled against the Earth’s atmosphere. He forgot where he was as he watched the light dance, and after a few moments, awe and wonder filled him so much that a soft gasp escaped his lips.
Oops.
Superman jumped up and spun around at a speed Danny almost couldn’t keep track of. He clenched his fist, aiming towards Danny’s face—
“I told you—” Superman said, stopping his punch an inch from Danny’s nose.
Danny didn’t flinch. Lips straight and eyes unblinking, he said, “Yes?”
“Dude!” Superman said, lowering his hand. “I almost hit you!”
“What?” Danny tilted his head, a devious grin spreading on his face. “You can’t hit me.”
Superman rolled his eyes and landed back on the gray surface, a cloud of dust puffing around him. “I told you last time not to sneak up on me like this.”
“I know,” Danny said, smile widening.
“You’re not disagreeing?”
“No?”
“Phantom!” Superman rubbed his eyes. “Then why are you here. There’s no mortal emergency or something,” he said, but then he frowned. “Well, not anymore.”
“I heard about that. Black holes can be tricky. You should’ve called me.”
“You said phones don’t work in the Infinite Realms.”
“Fine, summoned me. Same difference.”
“I had it handled,” Superman said, dragging his hands through his hair.
“Not without also disturbing the Realms, which I had to handle.”
“Oh, so you’re here to say I should’ve done better? Should’ve been faster?”
Danny hummed. “No.”
“I already know that! I’ve been dealing with repairing the damage for days. You know how many buildings got torn apart? I haven’t even slept—” he stopped, eyes widening. “Wait. No?”
“No,” Danny said. “I’m here to help.”
Superman sighed and cleared his throat. He paced several steps away, then returned, resigned. “With what, exactly? Help from you usually comes with conditions.”
Keeping his eyes on Superman, Danny pointed up.
Superman raised an eyebrow and then trailed his eyes upwards.
Before Superman could say anything—
Woof!
Danny grinned as the flying dog passed above like an asteroid, making yet another lap around the moon.
Superman dropped his jaw. “With Krypto?!”
Danny shrugged. “I heard he’s been causing you trouble.”
“He’s not causing me—” Krypto rocketed into Superman’s chest, sending him flying into the air. Krypto barked, attacking Superman with licks across his cheeks. “Krypto! Stop!”
Danny flew up to meet them, legs flicking into a tail. He laughed as he floated next to them, watching Superman tumble. Krypto didn’t stop as he pushed Superman through space, even against Superman’s attempts to slow them down.
At the rate they were flying, they’d be at Mars in a few minutes.
After a few more groans from Superman, Danny built an ectoplasmic ball in his hands, infusing it with ice.
“Oh, Krypto!” Danny called, bouncing the ball in his hands. Krypto’s ears perked up, his eyes transfixing on it. “Catch!” Danny said, aiming the ball towards where he knew Jupiter was. Krypto didn’t hesitate—he pushed off of Superman’s chest and chased after it.
Danny watched as Krypto continued to fly away until he couldn’t see him at all. Superman took the chance to recover before floating next to him, watching too.
“Why didn’t you tell me you had a dog?” Danny asked.
“He’s not mine.”
“But your responsibility,” Danny said, turning towards him. “At least right now.”
Superman shot him a look. “I can take care of him.”
Danny raised an eyebrow, his eyes catching on Krypto speeding back towards them. In a split second, he blasted back into Superman’s chest, causing him to tumble through space.
“Right,” Danny muttered. He formed more ectoplasm in his hand, but this time in the shape of a bone. He waved it in the air, and Krypto stopped dead in his tracks. Danny tossed it towards Saturn, and Krypto abandoned everything to shoot after it. Danny raised his voice, “Then how come you’re getting beat up by him?”
“B-beat— hey!” Superman said, flying towards him. “I am not.”
“Then what do you call that?” Danny said, pointing to Superman’s cheek.
Superman raised his hand towards it, making contact with the slobber still drenching his skin. He groaned before wiping his hand against his chest.
“Someone needs to train him,” Danny said.
“His mom can deal with it.”
“His mom? Let me guess. Supergirl?”
Superman huffed, looking away.
“Ancients, Superman! Supergirl is like, Dani, but in Kryptonian form.”
“Your point?”
“You know better than I do that Supergirl isn’t going to train him.”
Superman crossed his arms over his chest. “Fine. What are your conditions?”
“No conditions.”
Superman gave him a pointed look, but Danny stood strong. He could hold his ground, even here.
“There’s always conditions.”
----------
“How’d you know he’d go after your snowball thing?” Superman said, floating up next to Danny.
“I’ve dealt with a way crazier dog than Krypto.”
“There’s no way there’s a crazier dog than him—he can fly. He has super strength, Phantom. Heat vision?”
Danny shrugged, his eyes catching on Krypto speeding back towards them. “Like I said,” he said, creating another ball of snow and ectoplasm and throwing it in the opposite direction. Krypto shot after it.

Superman & Lois Fan Week – Day 2, Favorite Relationship (Clark/Lois)
Fandom: Superman & Lois (TV 2021)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Clark Kent/Lois Lane
Additional Tags: Fluff, Romance, Movie Night, Pre-Canon
Word Count: 2464
Summary: Clark and Lois celebrate their first month together in Clark’s apartment.
----
Clark paced in his small apartment, fingertips rubbing onto the bridge of his nose. Nearly hitting the coffee table for the ninth time, he floated up, instead deciding to pace in the air.
He had already cleaned the entire apartment; dishes spotless, floors meticulously mopped, even the walls and ceiling dusted. But it still didn’t feel like enough. It never did, not when someone like Lois Lane was coming over.
And today was a special day too—their first month anniversary, and for some incredibly odd reason, Lois humored him and offered for them to watch one of his favorite movies—Star Wars.
He could even still hear his response back—the promise to watch one of her favorite shows, Star Trek, the following month, which she had responded with a pout and a reluctant ‘fine’, hand waving in such a way that if he didn’t know any better, he would’ve thought she’d been disappointed.
But he did know her. The light that had shone in her beautiful blue eyes, widening more and more at each word? There was no doubt how excited she had been at the suggestion, even with her body language suggesting otherwise.
Clark huffed out a forced breath, pausing in his spot in the air. He looked over his living room, eyes catching on the perfectly folded blankets on his couch. And then onto the brown curtain lining his only front window, freshly washed and steamed, wrinkle-free. Even his journalism books were rearranged, now resting neatly in the center of his coffee table. They looked so incredibly perfect, Lois would probably wonder if Clark had ever opened them.
Which he had, by the way. For a solid three minutes. A long time in the grand scheme of things.
But maybe it was too clean in here? There was still the faint scent of lemon and fresh linen, too…or was that his super smell convincing him it was still perceptible?
He was still new to all this—new to Lois admitting, officially, that she liked him, even if it was a month ago. What if she’d find this level of cleanliness too much?
Clark hovered back to the floor, taking off his glasses. He rubbed the surfaces between his fingertips and flannel, but all it did was smudge the existing dirt on them, creating an obvious smear across the lens.
He couldn’t help but laugh at that. After everything he had done ahead of time to prepare for this? After showering and shaving and getting his hair to fall in the perfect spot across his forehead, he had forgotten to clean his glasses.
With a smile still on his face, he headed to the kitchen and dug through his junk drawer to find a cleaning cloth. He rubbed the cloth against the lens, happy to see the grime disappear.
A knock echoed through the apartment.
Clark glanced at the front door, putting on his glasses in the same breath. The steady heartbeat coming from the other side gave away who it was before his brain could catch up on how obvious it was in the first place.
Even after all the days he spent by her side, he still felt the nerves flutter in his stomach and up his chest, knowing that Lois was here. For him.
Not for work. For him.
It was only a recent change, but still something he wasn’t sure he’d ever get used to.
Clark straightened out his flannel with a soft tug and then headed to the door with a speed that was all too fast yet all too slow. Opening it, the gap widened to the most beautiful sight he had ever seen.
Lois Lane.
With a backdrop of Metropolis’s city lights, the faint shimmer of stars in the darkened sky, and the air of beautiful, headstrong confidence, there she stood, as stunning as always.
Time stood still as she looked at him, and Clark sucked in a steady breath, taking everything in.
He could smell the fragrance of her shampoo, fresh hints of rose. Her body wash, blooming lavender. And her laundry detergent, fresh-cut lilacs.
She was a walking bouquet of flowers.

Danny Fenton & Clark Kent
Rating: G
Word Count: 5.8K
Summary:
One. Two. Twenty. Forty more times. Every time with the same result: a jump, a moment where he thought maybe, just maybe, he could fly, and then a crash.
After the forty-first, Clark stood back up, shaking his legs to release ice that seemed to be in every crevice of his clothes. There was no point in getting rid of it all anymore—it’d only settle in the same spots when he ultimately crashed again.
He wasn’t sure how long he had been trying, but it had to have been hours.
But it didn’t matter.
He knew this wouldn’t work.
Or: Before Clark was Superman, he was just an eighteen-year-old who didn’t believe he could ever fly.
It’s a good thing someone else believed for him.

Jon Kent has no powers unlike his fraternal twin brother, Jordan, and although he never expects to develop them he still wants to help people. He decided to go to college in Metropolis to study medicine to one day get a job as an emergency physician.
As he sat down at a desk at his very first college lecture, Physics, the guy who sat next to him caught his attention.
He couldn’t quite figure out what was weird about this guy… but Jon knew he was something special. It only became more evident as some weird things started happening to Jon, too.
Here's what happens during the first seven days of physics class.
