Spinel's scene, he's definitely keeping an eye on Cervantis and has probably realized that he's cottoned onto the story he gave about Amethio dying in Laqua being fake.
Just wait till you learn Spinel tried to kill your son (and Liko) by leaving them trapped and isolated in a frozen cave where their bodies probably would not have been found for a long while. 😬
Also, Amethio clearly calling his dad out next episode, perhaps on just what kind of man Spinel is.

I feel like Cervantis perhaps stepped down so he could work against Spinel on the down-low and find out what really happened to his kid, but Spinel is still keeping an eye on him, going by him showing up here. (Cervantis also tries questioning him on the Strong Spheres, tho obviously Spinel isn't going to answer that.)
I love how Amethio looks to Liko when he says he almost lost all hope himself, until she rekindled his fire and helped him realize he should keep fighting. (Is it me, or has Mega Voltage has been low-key shipping those two?)
It's enough to convince Cervantis to get in on the fight too, and it's a nice moment seeing him and his son reconcile, and Amethio state that his and the Tacklers' paths are aligned. It's another callback to Ep65 too, where he had said that tho they pursue a similar goal, the paths they take are different.
Cervantis might have been rather emotionally distant from his son, but I guess hearing he "died" was enough of a system shock as a parent where that's all water under the bridge now.
