Recently I had the game Darwin's Choice by Treecer brought to my attention.

It's a strategic card game that focuses on mixing and matching evolutionary traits; players create their own animal species and whoever creates the most adaptable animal to the biomes presented ensures that animal's survival and earns points towards victory over their competitors. All of this is beautifully represented by hand drawn art by @rozenn-blog.

The game is currently in the middle of Kickstarting a new expansion that includes dinosaur and other prehistoric animal traits to the hundreds of other animal traits to choose from to ensure your creature's survival.

You can support them and purchase a copy of both the base game and new expansion, as well as other items like an encyclopedia featuring many of the animals in the game.

The production of the game is also 100% carbon neutral, all paper/cardboard used for game production is FSC certified with as little plastic used as possible.

What if there were an earth in another dimension, rarely seen, in a land of an unknown time?

An island of many layers, remnants of histories, brought together through time and discovery?

…There were stories of an island realm, shown on parts of a map. What had come and gone over the campaigns of civilizations. Where dinosaurs found.

I'm starting up my old TSF rollplayinggame idea again. It's based within game structures from late 70s TSR books maps etc.

Toys represent dinos well in tabletop dioramas and such.

The Saurian Frontier came to various creatures' attention. Some arrived on the island to discover what was there.
