I just found out that
ASAMI WAS ORIGINALLY MEANT TO BE A VILLAIN 🤯
Gosh, she was supposed to be a spy and get close to Mako to gain the trust of Team Avatar, but as the series progressed, the creators grew fond of her as a member of Team Avatar.
To think they were only supposed to be fire ferrets. Nothing against Asami, but I would have liked that version.
That's why this love triangle felt so strange, and I also felt Asami was a bit out of place towards the beginning of the second season.
Amd Indeed, she had the look of a villan
