Swamp Thing is one of those sci-fi/horror that just oozes totally awesome 80’s. Seriously, I can watch this movie on a constant loop and never get bored. One of my favorites, both for nostalgic reasons, but also for the amazingly raw uber cheesiness. The highlights - the Swamp Thing looks super cool, for a 1982 comic book movie... Adrienne Barbeau is all kinds of early 80’s hotness... gas station Jude is the coolest... it’s a damn Wes Craven film... Anton Arcane (Louis Jourdan) is mega, overacted evil... the fight scenes are just so bad they are good... that goop that comes out of the sliced Arcane monster at the end... the random ‘let’s get Barbeau topless, so we will have her randomly bathe in a nasty ass swamp’ scene... the original Groot arm regrow scene... when henchman Bruno gets turned into creepy mini monster Bruno...
