Disguise is a Self-Portrait / Freddie & Brynn
From the moment it had been mentioned and decided upon, Freddie had been unsure about going as a puppy for Halloween. He thought back to when he was younger, and his sister had dressed up the same and received all the 'awws' the neighbourhood could give. He doubted he would have the same effect, even if, as Brynn said, he gave off that vibe anyway. He let out a long sigh. And then abruptly laughed at himself. If nothing else, it'd entertain people and be a good tale for the future, so he rose up from where he sat at his desk and straightened out his white polo-shirt, brushing a few crumbs off it. Freddie had been looking forward to walking into Woodbay with Brynn - as new as she was to him, she'd quickly managed to make him feel comfortable and so he barely felt a flicker of his usual nervousness at new situations as he strolled out of the boys dorms and towards the girls.
Given that it was still reasonably early, people still milled around the dorm buildings and Freddie gave a small, passing smile to each one he met. He bounded up the stairs quickly, reciting Brynn's dorm number under his head so he couldn't pick the wrong door accidentally. The walk along the plush corridor was short, and he knocked quickly upon the light wood of her door before standing back to wait, his hands in the pockets of his jeans.
